  Last winter, my skin became so dry that everything I applied stung. That's when I bought this product based on a friend's recommendation for my winter night care routine. My cheeks are extremely dry and sensitive, while my nose is combination dehydrated, making skincare quite challenging. This product has an incredibly rich texture that feels like it's deeply nourishing my skin. After applying it at night, I wake up to find that the stinging sensation has subsided and my skin feels plump. It seems to balance the oil and moisture levels well. The scent is herbal, reminiscent of nature, which might be a hit or miss for some people.

  Cons

  Some days it works great, but on others, it makes my skin itchy. I checked the ingredients on Hwahae and found that it contains five ingredients not recommended for sensitive skin. Since I can't predict when it will work well, I ended up not reaching for it very often.

  Tip

  Make sure to wipe the bottle opening well, as product tends to build up there. I recommend using it in the evening as it may cause pilling if applied before makeup.
