I haven't seen much of an effect, but it seems to help control sebum and make my skin feel moisturized and even out my skin tone.
ConsRecommendedI'm completely satisfied in every way, so I repurchased it.

However, I have sensitive skin prone to redness, so my skin condition can be quite unpredictable. When my skin is in good shape, it's fine, but if my skin is even slightly off, applying this after toner can cause a bit of a tingling sensation - almost like a mild stinging? Even though I can use pure vitamin C without any discomfort, this product sometimes causes a slight sting. I think it might be due to the LHA and PHA ingredients. Nevertheless, if I apply a hydrating ampoule first, it's much better, so I use it in this order: toner, hydrating ampoule, then this product. The dropper is auto-filling, which is convenient - just opening it dispenses the product! I tried using a galvanic device after applying this, but I woke up with some blemishes the next morning. I tested it a few more times when my skin had calmed down, but each time it seemed to irritate my skin, so I've stopped using the device with this. If you have super sensitive skin like me, I'd recommend not using it daily right away or with a galvanic device. It's best to have an adjustment period.
ConsThose with sensitive skin may need an adjustment period. Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent... it's somewhat reminiscent of the emulsion smell you might encounter at a public bathhouse?

You can visibly see your face becoming clearer. It's truly an astonishing product.
ConsRecommendedI loved it so much that I used it morning and night, but my skin reacted badly. Be cautious as it can cause some irritation.

I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion from Amplen, a brand I trust and use regularly. It's a white, runny ampoule with brightening ingredients like niacinamide. The formula is gentle, making it suitable for most people unless you have super sensitive skin.
ConsI didn't notice any remarkable effects. I didn't see any improvement in my complexion or blemishes, which was disappointing given its reputation.
TipI recommend purchasing this when it's on sale at Olive Young. They often have buy-one-get-one-free promotions that last quite a while.

This means it's versatile enough for both teenagers and adults to use. The ingredients seem better than I expected. While it's on the pricier side, looking at the ingredient list, I can understand why. After trying it myself, I found it absorbs well and feels gentle yet effective on the skin. If I get the chance, I'd like to purchase the full-size product and give it a thorough try.
ConsRecommendedGiven that it's a spot-correcting serum, it contains vitamin derivatives and has a relatively high acidity. I accidentally got a bit in my eye while applying, and it stung quite a bit! It's probably best to be careful and avoid the eye area when applying this product.

Love it!
ConsRecommendedBeing a brightening serum, it can feel a bit tingly when you have some blemishes on your skin. However, it doesn't irritate to the point of worsening existing skin issues.

I tried it before applying a modeling mask, but I'm content with just having tested the sample.
ConsWhile I can understand the claims of brightening products, it seems increasingly difficult to see noticeable effects on blemishes and dark spots through skincare alone these days.

My skin looks clearer and more radiant. For a whitening serum, it's surprisingly less drying than others!
ConsRecommendedWhen used alone, it can be a bit drying, so make sure to follow up with a good moisturizer.

It's not completely water-like though - you can still feel a nice level of hydration. The dropper design at the top is surprisingly convenient to use.
ConsMy skin reacted badly the very next day after using this. I tried it a few more times, but it seems it's just not compatible with my skin, so it's now relegated to the back of my drawer.

For a brightening serum, it's neither too rich nor drying.
ConsRecommendedThe price is a bit high for the amount you get. If you're expecting dramatic brightening results, you might be disappointed.
