  Pros

  Aesop's unique aroma is hard to find elsewhere. Those who like it will really love it, and personally, I find the scent healing and soothing. It lathers well and provides a refreshing cleansing sensation. Even after washing, there's little to no feeling of tightness, so you don't immediately need to apply skincare products.

  Cons

  While I generally like the scent and cleansing feel of the product, considering the price, it's not exactly a budget-friendly option. The glass bottle does double as a bathroom decor item, but you have to be careful not to break it. Plus, having to open the lid every time can be a bit cumbersome.

  Tip

  It might be too gentle for a first cleanse, so I use it as a mild second cleanser on days when I've only applied sunscreen or a brightening moisturizer.

  Pros

  Luxurious spa-like fragrance, refreshing texture, and powerful cleansing effectiveness.

  Cons

  Very little lather. Not sure if it's incompatible with my skin, but the cleansing power seems to strip away moisture, leaving my skin feeling dry after washing. I couldn't notice any significant functional differences compared to what I expected.

  Tip

  If you have combination, sensitive, or blemish-prone skin and want to try the Parsley Seed toner and cleanser, it's best to test them on your face for at least two days using samples. Although the Parsley Seed line is supposedly created for sensitive skin, there's a noticeable sensation that might be due to the antioxidant ingredients (especially in the Parsley Seed toner).

  Pros

  I use this product as my second cleanser after using a cleansing water, and my skin feels incredibly comfortable after washing. The texture is transparent but slightly thick. The finish is refreshing and hydrating. It's far from feeling squeaky clean, but it's not overly slippery either. I'd say it's somewhere in between - a balanced finish. I bought the 200ml size at duty-free, and using one pump each evening for cleansing, it lasted me just under 5 months. Among all the cleansing products I've tried, this one left my skin feeling the most comfortable.

  Cons

  The downsides are: 1. Price - Although it lasted about 5 months, which is longer than other cleansing products, the price is still a bit steep when considering repurchasing. 2. Scent - When I lather it in my palms and apply it to my face, there's a distinct herbal smell that can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. However, the product is good enough that this minor issue doesn't bother me too much. 3. Packaging - As far as I know, the smaller size doesn't come with a pump. The larger size does provide a pump, but it's not pre-attached. You have to remove the original cap and attach the pump yourself. However, if you attach the pump right away, the product overflows... So you have to use it with the cap for a while before switching to the pump, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, the pump doesn't reach all the way to the bottom, so when there's a little left, you need to open the container and scoop it out. Plus, the container is glass, so you need to be careful when using it in the bathroom. Despite these minor issues, I still really like the product itself and would definitely repurchase it.

  Tip

  When I was buying another product from Aesop before, I was interested in this one too and listened to the explanation. The staff member mentioned it had exfoliating effects, but I found those effects to be minimal. Don't expect too much in terms of exfoliation. I still used a separate exfoliator about once a week.

  Pros

  Gentle on the skin. Soft without irritation. Being a gel type, it feels milder than foam cleansers and fresher than oil cleansers.

  Cons

  The price is steep. I managed to buy it duty-free at a slightly lower cost, but it's still a bit hard on the wallet.
