First off, it's super convenient being in pad form. Love that it comes with a generous amount too! There's a slight scent when you rinse it off with water. Other than that, I can't really think of any downsides. - je********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 24, 2023
I applied this to my back acne and body acne before showering, and after the shower, they were all gone! The itching completely disappeared too. Scabs formed right away. However, if you don't use it regularly, back acne tends to reappear soon. I had to take away a star because of the small amount, price, and lack of long-lasting effects. Make sure to apply it consistently once or twice a week. - ap******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2022
1. Improves rough skin texture. 2. Helps smooth out bumpy skin. 1. Repeated use on the same area can cause skin redness. 2. The pad feels rough and can be uncomfortable on the skin. 3. Contains ingredients that require caution. Use with a gentle, sweeping motion. - ro*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 13, 2022
I was trying to calm down my back and chest acne with my usual body mist and wash... (ㅠ_ㅠ) (When it wasn't hot, this combo really did the trick!) But as the weather got humid... my dormant blemishes went wild. This time, they spread so widely and in such small patches that I thought it was severe, so I went to the dermatologist for my back acne. The doctor said my pores were packed with sebum. They prescribed me an epidermal solution, but it didn't settle easily. Feeling I needed to remove the excess sebum, I searched everywhere from dermatology clinics to products and found this gem. ☄️Since I can't see my back, I had my family check and took photos to confirm. When the doctor said my pores were full of sebum, there were many spots on my back that looked like blackheads but couldn't be squeezed. Besides the sudden acne breakout, there were many small, white, unsqueezable sebum-filled bumps. I thought the bumpy acne had completely disappeared, but it seems it was just building up... (I exfoliate well and shower daily). But after using this, not only did the sudden breakouts subside, but it feels like my sebum is being managed overall! I did have my family squeeze out the blackheads once... ^^ But after about 3 months of use, it feels like my sebum production is under control! Even the flat, unsqueezable sebum bumps are gone. I tried stopping use for a bit after it calmed down (out of laziness)... but in summer, body mist alone wasn't enough, so I quickly went back to using it. It has that slight tingling sensation you sometimes feel with acne products! The product says it needs to be washed off thoroughly! So I wipe it with a pad first thing before showering (I keep it in the bathroom and use it only on my chest and back before showering). I've seen many online reviews of people experiencing skin irritation, but I've only used it on my chest and back, so I'm not sure about other areas. I'm recommending it based on the effects I've felt on my chest and back, so it might be best to read reviews carefully before purchasing! - yu********Oily SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2022
There's nothing good to say, but if I have to write at least 20 characters, what should I write? As I have super sensitive skin, I only used it for about 2 minutes initially. Immediately after application, my skin started reacting, becoming unbearably itchy and irritated. I ended up going to a 24-hour clinic for an injection to calm it down. Thinking it might just be due to my sensitive skin, and having only used it once, I shared it with friends who have more resilient skin. To my dismay, they all had similar reactions upon use, making me feel guilty for sharing it. I strongly advise against using this product. After using it, I had to visit the hospital for a week! - ca********Combination SkinApr 25, 2022
The advertising looked so promising... Only positive reviews on their official site... Seems they're quite skilled at managing their reviews. Strangely, after using this a few times, I developed an itchy, hive-like rash that hasn't subsided for days. I'm too scared to use it now. There are many potentially irritating ingredients for sensitive skin at high concentrations. I don't even have particularly sensitive skin... I'm leaving this review to prevent others from experiencing the same symptoms I've seen in lower-rated reviews on Naver and the brand's website (you have to scroll through several pages to find the low ratings on their site, unfortunately). When I checked Hwahae, there were no reviews, so I thought it would be fine since I've used MediCube products before. Big mistake. Pro tip: Even if Yoo Jae-suk is the model, don't buy if there are no reviews on Hwahae.
