Pros
This is my first time using Tamanu oil, and when I apply it after drying, it feels comfortable as if a protective layer is formed.
Cons
While the scent is not overly strong, it is distinctive and requires some getting used to.
Tip

Pros
1. The ingredients are clean and good. 2. It calms down skin troubles (especially redness). 3. A small amount is enough for moisturizing. These 3 points are the strengths in my opinion. The ingredients are gentle, and the oil itself has a soothing and calming effect on the skin, so I didn't have any problems after applying the oil. I have an oily skin type that easily gets flushed (the reddish parts in the photo kept appearing and subsiding). Even on normal days, my skin would often get flushed, so I purchased this oil. After applying it before bed for about 10 days consistently, the redness has visibly decreased. It may be hard to see the difference without before photos, but for those with redness and in need of moisturizing, this might be worth considering. There's still a lot of the dry season left.
Cons
It's not so much disappointing as the tamanu oil itself seems to have a very strong smell. So I absolutely don't apply it before going out, because even if I just go near someone, they tell me I smell. Haha That's why I only apply it before bed.
Tip
As I mentioned above, when I apply it before bed and sleep, I find my skin much more soothed the next morning. The smell is quite strong, so for going out, you'd want to use something else.

Using body lotion during the winter helps get rid of dryness completely. The thick oil helps with moisture retention.
Cons
It's too heavy, so it's stuffy to use on combination or oily skin on the face. I tried mixing it with a mist, but the hoho bio oil works better.

As winter approaches, my skin becomes dry, so it's great to mix the cream I apply to my face and the body lotion I apply to my body. Even when applying hand cream before bed, mixing it in works wonders to revive my cracked fingertips and keep them moisturized.

My skin was extremely dry and flaky in the winter, so I purchased this product. In the end, it was effective in reducing the flakiness. After applying it consistently for about 3 days to the areas with flakiness, I started to see the flakiness subsiding. While the fragrance is not refreshing, I liked that the natural scent of the product was strong rather than using artificial fragrances, which made me trust the product more.

It seems like it can only be used in the winter, but even then, the shelf life is only 6 months, and I couldn't finish using it all. Pros
I bought it last year but didn't open it because I was told it was camellia oil. I started using it recently and it's been great. Even after applying hand cream, my hands still felt dry, but mixing this in has been very effective. It works better for me than jojoba oil.
Cons
I don't really have any negatives. The scent isn't bad and it doesn't feel too sticky either. I'd definitely recommend this.
Tip
For the face, just one drop is good, but for the hands, I mix in three or four drops with my regular cream, and it feels like an all-purpose moisturizer. Haha.
