This toner is anything but light - it's got some serious substance! Even when my skin is acting up, I can use it without any issues. Layering it twice really helps the rest of my skincare absorb like a dream. The fact that it's being discontinued is such a bummer. I guess I'll have to make the most of what I have left. - ki*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 21, 2023
This toner is perfect for when your skin feels dry, providing a boost of hydration. It has a bouncy texture that applies gently to the skin. The consistency is slightly thick but doesn't run, yet it doesn't leave any sticky residue on your hands or face. I've used it both with a cotton pad and by patting it in with my hands, and both methods work great. When my skin feels dehydrated, I layer this under a cream (because I'm too lazy to use multiple products... hehe), and it still provides excellent moisture. However, those with extremely dry skin might need to be cautious! It doesn't feel heavy or drip even in hot weather, and I've used it comfortably in dry autumn and winter conditions too. On my skin, it didn't cause any excess oil or visible greasiness, just absorbed nicely leaving my skin hydrated. I'm still using it without any blemishes popping up! 1. It's not the quickest to absorb. Due to its texture, you need to give it time and pat it in gently for full absorption. 2. It can sting a bit if applied to very dry skin (though to be fair, most products do in this situation... haha). 3. When using with a cotton pad, the pad tends to absorb the product slowly. However, this wasn't a major issue as it still eventually absorbed, just needed a bit more patience. For deep, lasting hydration, try applying this toner and then layering a cream on top. Personally, I found that soaking a cotton pad, placing it on my face, and then gently wiping along my skin texture left my complexion looking clearer. - hy******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresOct 17, 2023
The ingredients feel genuinely gentle and high-quality. I also appreciate the simple packaging. The formula is too heavy for my liking. It's too rich to apply even in winter, so I probably won't repurchase. For a toner, it's quite thick, leaving me feeling like it lacks hydration. If you have a similar skin type to mine, I'd recommend trying a sample first before committing to a full purchase. - su*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2023
It really does provide deep hydration and improves the absorption of the next essence step. My skin definitely felt soft and smooth. If it gets in your eyes, it stings like crazy... And sometimes when my skin wasn't in the best condition, it felt a bit tingling... - hu**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2023
This is the only toner that's truly effective for my deep dryness. It's even gradually improving the redness caused by dehydration. What makes this product so appealing is its ability to combat dryness without clogging pores or leaving an oily residue. It can sting a bit when my skin is super sensitive. There was a time when I wore masks frequently for several days, and I had to switch to a different toner for about a week to calm my skin's sensitivity before I could use this again. It is on the pricier side, I must admit. - vn*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2023
After applying, my deep dryness disappeared. My skin became soft and smooth. I'm satisfied with the good ingredients too. It takes a long time to absorb, so you need to pat it in for quite a while. - ru******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2023
<Skin Type> Spring/Fall: Normal combination skin Summer: Oily Winter: Sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to extreme dryness While I found the Laneige Cream Skin to be excessively rich with insufficient hydration, this product, despite being a similar cream toner, offers slightly more hydration without feeling overly rich. It's perfect for use during the current spring/fall seasons. I'm not sure if it significantly helps with soothing, but overall it's gentle and moisturizing, so I'm using it well. Given its price-to-volume ratio, it might be a bit challenging to use as a daily mask routine. It's great for layering on top of a light water-based toner (whether applied with a cotton pad or sprayed). For winter, using a hydrating serum or ampoule seems essential. Apart from the higher price point, I didn't find any major drawbacks. - de*********Oily SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2023
This cream toner has a thicker, snot-like texture than I expected, which made it super easy to apply without dripping. The combination of hyaluronic acid, panthenol, ceramides, and madecassoside is so perfect for the first step after cleansing that I would have sought it out even if it wasn't Yuna's product. It's my ideal toner that I can use without overthinking. The fact that Yuna created it makes me wonder just how high-quality the ingredients must be... I'm used to high-concentration vitamin C and retinol products, and I even do at-home MTS and herbal peels. My skin is tough and the opposite of sensitive. However, this product makes my eye area tingle and my cheeks turn red. I've found other reviews mentioning similar reactions. The symptoms disappear quickly though, and crucially, I'm not breaking out, so I plan to keep using it for a while longer. - ha********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2023
It gave me a feeling of deep hydration. My skin seemed to become clearer and more radiant. The absorption felt a bit slow. Overall, I was quite satisfied, so I don't have much to complain about. - ys***Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 14, 2022
I bought this set after seeing it on YouTube. The consistency is medium, closer to a runny texture. It applies well, absorbs quickly, and feels refreshing when applied. It has a thoughtful formulation with only skin-beneficial ingredients like Centella Asiatica, Madecassoside, Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, and Ceramides. While this product focuses on soothing and hydration, it's not as exceptional as I had hoped. It might be slightly insufficient for those with dry skin, but it's not bad as a first step in your skincare routine. Personally, I have low expectations for toners, so overall, I think this one is decent enough.
