I've been consistently using this product for my extremely damaged, fine, and lifeless hair. It has a pleasant scent and great ingredients. Scent: I loved the fragrance of the Cureshil hair essence so much that I decided to try the shampoo as well. I was pleased to find it has a subtle, delightful rose scent. Scalp type: Oily For those with oily scalps, the cleansing effectiveness feels a bit weak. Personally, I prefer a squeaky-clean feeling after shampooing, but the Cureshil product left a slightly slippery sensation. Lather: Similar to low-pH shampoos, it doesn't produce an abundant lather. This means you end up using more product, which is disappointing as it runs out quickly. The lather is richer than expected, and my hair feels softer compared to when I use regular shampoo With continued use, the softening effect seems to diminish. Apart from the good lather, I can't find anything else to praise about this product. It doesn't add shine, and especially when I use it in the morning, my scalp starts to smell before midday. It tames frizzy curly hair, making it smooth and manageable. Even with very long curly hair, it seems to calm the entire mane and add a beautiful shine. While personal preferences may vary, I personally don't find the scent to be particularly luxurious. For the scalp area, I first use a shampoo bar or a cleanser with good cleansing effectiveness. Then, as a second step, this shampoo lathers up beautifully. I love how it leaves my hair soft even without conditioner. The scent is the same as the conditioner, but it's not that it's bad - just a bit ambiguous. It smells like soap bubbles. Since it's for extremely damaged hair, its cleansing effectiveness on the scalp is quite low.

It helps tame frizzy hair, leaving it smooth and manageable. It's also gentle on the scalp, causing no irritation. The lather isn't very rich and the cleansing effectiveness is a bit weak. It doesn't leave a very refreshing feeling, so those with extremely oily scalps like mine might not find it suitable.
