Quick review: A lightweight matte cushion that applies with a velvety smooth finish The shade 21 matched my complexion well and looked beautiful The packaging feels convenient. The slightly textured back of the foundation lid helps control the amount dispensed The velvety texture and matte finish make it perfect for summer use Medium coverage It seems to lack a bit in adherence? And if not applied carefully, it can look slightly patchy - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessJan 6, 2024
It feels so light and airy when applied, making it perfect as a summer cushion foundation! The amount you get is generous, and the design is absolutely adorable. When applying, it doesn't adhere well to the skin and tends to sit on top rather than blend in seamlessly. - aw*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2023
Super moisturizing and applies smoothly - that's the No Sebum magic for you! The packaging is absolutely adorable and charming too. I can't really think of any downsides when using it, except maybe a slight tendency to separate? - ki**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2022
- Effectively evens out complexion for a natural look - Stays put without breaking down - Blends well with skin's natural oils, preventing dryness - Contains superior ingredients compared to other cushion brands - Don't expect high coverage - For autumn use, apply over a thorough skincare routine for best results - k2*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 20, 2022
It feels so soft and velvety after application, and it adheres perfectly to the skin! Perhaps because it's so powdery, it feels a bit drying on my skin - wp**********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 21, 2022
This no-sebum powder cushion definitely provides an excellent finishing and fixing effect! Given how masks can ruin makeup these days, people now prioritize products that offer decent coverage while adhering well to the skin, rather than just focusing on coverage like in the past. This product seems to have nailed that need - it smoothly conceals pores and uneven texture, proving its worth with every use! While those with dry skin might find it a bit drying, it's great for oily skin types as it helps control excess oil. Perfect for summer use! The scent is also quite nice. The only downside is that I wished I had gotten a different case. I thought about splitting a set with friends, but that didn't work out. For those with dry skin, I'm sure you know to apply a solid base of skincare before using this. As for me, I have oily skin, so here's my tip: Instead of applying a full pump in one go, use a tiny amount and gently pat it all over your face with the cushion puff. Try to cover your entire face with this small amount. Then, build up in layers if needed. Your skin will look its best that day! (Pro tip: spritz some setting spray between layers for even better results.) If you look at the cushion puff, you'll notice it has slits. Rather than just lightly tapping the puff on the product, really work it into those slits. This helps control the amount you're using and allows you to build up thin layers as you pat it onto your skin, with the slits releasing more product as needed. - kb*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2022
"Innisfree No Sebum Powder Cushion 14g / 23000 won" Packaging: I discovered that the box is made from 100% recycled paper and printed with soybean oil ink. The case is made of 67% recycled plastic. I didn't know this before, but it's meaningful that they use sustainable packaging materials, and I appreciate their consideration for the environment. Color: I use 21N, which is a natural neutral ivory shade that's almost identical to my complexion. It creates a natural skin-like finish, but I'd recommend choosing one shade lighter for the best results. There are 5 colors in total, ranging from 13 to 23, with both N and C options, allowing you to select the shade that best matches your skin tone. Puff: I was intrigued by the half-and-half air hole puff. The smooth side provides high coverage, while the perforated side creates a more natural look. I liked that I could achieve different finishes with one puff! The matte formula was easy to apply with this puff that allows for simple product control. Texture: It goes on slightly moisturizing at first, then sets to a perfect matte finish. It feels lightweight and powdery, without any stickiness. As expected from a no-sebum cushion, it applies lightly like a powder and provides a soft, matte coverage. I appreciate that it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Ingredients: It's reportedly dermatologist-tested and known as a fragrance-free, low-irritation cushion. They claim to have excluded 9 harmful ingredients, including animal-derived ingredients, mineral oils, and other potentially irritating substances. Mask Transfer: While there's minimal transfer immediately after application, I noticed significant transfer onto my mask after extended wear, especially in areas where the mask frequently touches the face. Darkening: Some reviews mentioned darkening and a grayish cast. I think there is some truth to this - it seems to darken slightly compared to other cushions, which might contribute to the perceived grayish tone. Oil Control: Despite being a no-sebum cushion, it surprisingly didn't control oil as well as expected. When I removed my mask, I noticed that it hadn't controlled sebum and shine effectively. However, the cushion's adherence to the skin was good, so it didn't break down completely. It felt like oil was sitting on top of the skin, giving a somewhat lifted appearance. Pores and Flaking: Its ability to cover pores and texture is moderate at best. It seems like some powder particles sit on top of the skin while others mix with oil and moisture, potentially settling into pores. Around the nose and upon close inspection, the application isn't entirely smooth, and there's some visible product buildup. Coverage: Despite its reputation for good coverage, I didn't find it particularly impressive. It slightly concealed large blemishes and minor imperfections, but I wouldn't say it provides high coverage on my skin. Orange and Red Undertones: Compared to other cushions, this one seems to have more orange and slightly more red undertones. If you typically don't do well with orange-tinted cushions, you might want to think twice about this one. The puff comes in two versions, allowing for different finishes. If you take good care of your skin prep, you'll definitely see less flaking! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2022
I initially bought this Innisfree x Snoopy collaboration because it looked cute, but I had no idea it would be this good! I'm currently using the Hera Mist Cushion and Hera Glow Lasting Cushion in 21N, and this No Sebum 21N provides decent coverage too. In summer, makeup can feel heavy on the skin, especially when we have to wear masks. But this feels light and fresh, not suffocating at all. The downside is that its staying power is a bit weak, so you need to touch up every 2-3 hours. Despite the low longevity, I still plan to use this during summer. I've also tried the Laneige Neo Cushion Glow, but since I don't sweat much, I find the No Sebum works better for me than the Neo.
