I'm currently alternating between this and the Aestura Soothing Cream for day and night use. I've tried all sorts of products that claim to help with the skin barrier, and while I'm not entirely sure about Zeroid yet, it seems to be the best so far. I've just finished one jar, so I'll give it another go. I'm not sure if I've seen any significant effects yet. The price is a bit on the steep side, to be honest. - ki********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
It's truly gentle! I could use it without any issues even when my skin was super sensitive! The ingredients are excellent, and for combination dehydrated skin, it's suitable for both morning and evening use in winter if you adjust the amount well. It provides good hydration even with a small amount, so I use a thin layer in the morning! The price seems to be the biggest drawback... Also, rather than feeling intensely moisturizing, it's somewhat heavy, so those with combination dehydrated skin should definitely ensure they've applied enough hydration beforehand to maintain the right oil and moisture balance. - eu************Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 24, 2025
I've used up a whole bottle and repurchased. Highly recommended for dry, aging skin. The oil and moisture balance is excellent. It has a rich texture but doesn't feel greasy, finishing with a clean feel. Being winter, I mixed in a couple drops of squalane, but it should work well on its own in other seasons. Although I have dry skin, I'm prone to blemishes if products are too oily, but I didn't experience any issues with this. Even with my sensitive skin and dermatitis, I found it generally gentle and nourishing. The price point is a bit high. Try looking for set discounts on the official website. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 1, 2024
For a rich cream, it felt like a hydrating moisturizer that burst with moisture without any stickiness, and had a smooth texture for me. I plan to use it on days when I've applied high-concentration toners, serums, or ampoules, or save it for spring use. While it definitely provides hydration, I found it a bit drying for my skin in this cold season. I think it would be perfect to use in summer. - al**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2024
Although it's labeled as a rich cream, it's not as heavy as you might expect and absorbs quickly. It's moisturizing and has great ingredients. The price is a bit on the high side. It seems like it would work well as a pre-makeup step during the winter months. - Hwahae UserDry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 9, 2024
As someone who doesn't typically get along with cica ingredients, this product has become my gateway into the cica world. Even common creams like Aestura, Physiogel, and Kiehl's tend to sting and don't suit me well. Famous products like Bioderma and La Roche-Posay, which are known for their rich texture and leaving a bit of oil on the skin overnight, still caused slight deep dryness, itching, and tingling for me. However, this product feels even more soothing on my skin than SVR Cicavit. While SVR Cicavit is one of the creams that works well for me, this one is even more comfortable. I also bought a lighter formula to use as a hydrating cream for the peak of summer. If you're like me, with dry skin and unsatisfied after trying various moisturizers, give this a try. As a former skincare nomad myself, I wanted to leave this review to help others. For my dry skin type, this cream has yet to show any drawbacks. Since I have dry skin, I can use this morning and night without any pilling issues with my makeup. Though I haven't tested it during the height of summer yet. - iw**Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 1, 2024
I liked how it applied without feeling greasy, and I didn't experience any blemishes. While it worked well for me, I can imagine some people might find it a bit drying. - ki*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 9, 2024
Absorbs well and applies smoothly even on combination dehydrated skin. When used with an EGF ampoule, it feels like it transforms your skin into a honey-like complexion! I just wish they would offer discounts more frequently! Actually, the rich version suits my combination dehydrated skin better than the moisture one, so I don't have any particular complaints.. - ju********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 15, 2024
This cream contains 50% centella extract and 3% panthenol as the main ingredients, serving as a recovery cicada complex. It contains madecassoside, and the skin barrier components are composed of ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids in a 3:1:1 ratio, making the ingredients very good. It also contains trehalose, which opens up the moisture path, and natural moisturizing factors (moisture storage tanks) such as arginine and sodium hyaluronate, as well as squalane and fatty acids (palmitic acid, stearic acid) in the form of shea butter, which does not cause acne, to prevent moisture from evaporating, and there is also a moisturizing film of dimethicone and other silicone oils. It was sufficient as a cicada moisturizing barrier cream to be used consistently in the evening. The formulation is not sticky and not too oily, so it was also suitable for my combination/dry skin. It is sufficient as a winter moisturizing cream for skin types with oily and combination/dry skin. I recommend it as a regenerative cream for those in their 30s or older who have undergone laser treatment or have a damaged skin barrier. I am using it consistently because I am very satisfied with its application and absorption. Hexapeptide-8, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, and SH-oligopeptide-1 were included in small amounts, which was a bit disappointing. This part can be supplemented with a serum or ampoule. Peptides that help care for wrinkles and improve skin elasticity and a healthy skin barrier, EGF that quickly improves wound healing and acne and helps restore the skin, and Centella extract that is effective for inflammatory pigmentation acne, as well as hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and panthenol that can provide moisture, and squalane, grape seed oil, jojoba seed oil, rosehip fruit oil, evening primrose oil, various natural oil ingredients, and shea butter, which are also used as eye cream. Glycerin, panthenol, and silicone oil are also present, so they are said to be more effective in increasing skin moisture content and reducing transepidermal water loss, and in maintaining moisture. There are too many types of moisturizing films. There are fatty acids similar to sebum structure, squalane, shea butter, etc., and there are also mineral oil and silicone oil that play the role of occlusive agents. If it says (linoleic acid, oleic acid, squalane, shea butter, myristic, palmitic, stearic, lauric, mineral oil, silicone oil) on the back of a moisturizer or something, it means it plays a role in the moisturizing film. However, for those with severe inner dryness, apply a lot of moisture-giving ingredients inside and then apply the moisturizing film, and be sure to use one that contains mineral oil or silicone oil. This plays a role in sealing, so it prevents moisture from evaporating. Other moisturizing film ingredients also help prevent moisture from evaporating, but mineral oil and silicone oil do it more reliably.
