I've always struggled with makeup - it would flake off, emphasize my pores, and just look worse than bare skin. Then I discovered this ivory-toned brightening moisturizer cushion about two years ago. Can you believe I'm already on my third compact? That's how much I love it! For a brightening moisturizer, the coverage is surprisingly good. It blends so seamlessly that it looks like I'm not wearing anything at all - hello, natural "no makeup" look! It matches my complexion perfectly (I'm shade 20). The best part? No caking or pilling whatsoever. It just doesn't happen! You get the coverage without looking like you're wearing makeup. Absolutely recommend this for combination skin like mine! Keep in mind this is a brightening moisturizer cushion, not a foundation, so don't expect all-day wear. However, if you layer it over long-lasting skincare products, it does stick around much longer. It applies smoothly and evenly, even if you're not super precise. No pilling issues at all! - ek*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMay 31, 2025
I've been using this as a gift for a few months now, and it's great when first applied. The brightening moisturizer goes on smoothly with a nice hydrating feel. However, as the day progresses, it starts to settle into fine lines. I find myself constantly having to smooth it out in various spots, which is quite inconvenient. I'm trying to avoid applying it to areas with wrinkles, but once I finish this bottle, I won't be repurchasing or recommending it. - i5*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 18, 2025
I'm not sure about the coverage, but it adheres well to the skin and feels wonderfully hydrating. The price is also great! It tends to emphasize dead skin cells and can separate a bit easily. It makes the skin look slightly uneven (though not to a bothersome degree). It's important to focus on a good skincare routine as a base. - tw********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2025
This cushion foundation offers a perfect lightweight coverage! It adheres well to the skin and gives a natural glow without looking greasy. I especially loved that it's versatile for different skin tones. Even with my sensitive skin, I used it without any blemishes appearing. As it's a brightening cushion, the coverage isn't high enough for inflamed acne or red spots. You'll need to follow up with concealer for those areas. - ja*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedDec 2, 2024
I bought this cushion because I needed one with good quality. My skin tone is between 21 and 22, but I purchased 02 and it matched perfectly. It was just right for my complexion, maybe slightly darker. When applied over a well-prepped base, it looked absolutely beautiful. I also use a makeup fixer, and the staying power wasn't bad at all! After going out for 3-4 hours and coming back home, it still looked decent. However, the downside is that if you don't prep your skin thoroughly, it can look extremely patchy. On a day when I was in a rush and didn't do my skincare properly, I was really shocked when I saw my skin. I highly recommend using a primer and doing a thorough skincare routine before applying! - ju**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresNov 6, 2024
Well... I actually got it on sale at a great price! So overall, it was pretty good value for money. It's more of a semi-glow finish rather than matte. It doesn't give a smooth skin appearance, tends to settle into pores and emphasize wrinkles. It can be a bit drying for those with dry skin. - te*********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 3, 2024
I thought it would apply completely transparent since reviews said there's no coverage, but it actually conceals small imperfections better than expected. And above all, it's so convenient to use. It seems ineffective. I applied it, practiced dancing for 2 hours, and came home, but my skin looked exactly the same even though I had been sweating... - sk******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2024
I stumbled upon this product after hearing good things about it and bought it out of curiosity. First off, it's perfect for summer use! Unlike foundation, which feels heavy and unpleasant to apply in the hot and humid weather, this goes on smoothly like sunscreen. It instantly brightens the skin, and with its separate pink and yellow tones, you can apply it all over and then dab a bit of pink on the cheekbones for a beautiful glow. I'm planning to use this instead of foundation all summer! As it's a brightening moisturizer sunscreen cushion, it doesn't provide coverage. Not recommended for those who need to conceal blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 1, 2024
I really liked it! It gave a nice brightening effect and provided a good coverage feel. It applied quite thickly and had that strong, typical sunscreen scent. - dl*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsApr 21, 2024
The separate beige and pink shades might be its strong point As someone with super sensitive skin, I decided to splurge on this expensive cushion as a foundation alternative. Unfortunately, the lavender oil didn't agree with my skin, causing redness wherever I applied it. I had to stop using it!
