It does tend to slide off a bit, though.
ConsJust like the way it spreads, right? So you need to apply it evenly.

Even though I have dry skin, it didn't emphasize dead skin cells and wasn't sticky. The sky-blue color is pretty, which makes me like it even more!
ConsWhen applied before makeup, it tends to pill like dirt. It doesn't make your skin overly shiny, but when touched, it leaves an oily residue. It's good for quick outings, but for full makeup days, I'll probably stick to sunscreen. Using it without much thought, I feel like I'm going through it quickly.

Cons- It flaked off like dead skin cells after application While less noticeable on the face, it pilled up like dirt when applied to the neck

My husband is also using it with satisfaction.
ConsOccasionally it pills like dead skin cells, so I'm deducting one star for that.

Initially, it has the texture of an emulsion, but after a few minutes, you can barely tell you're wearing anything. It doesn't leave an oily residue, which makes for a pleasant user experience. The product glides on smoothly without any white cast, to the point where you might forget you've applied it. Its compact size makes it perfect for on-the-go use.
ConsThe twist-up stick design dispenses a set amount each time, which can be a bit limiting in terms of portion control (see attached photo). It seems like it might run out quickly. The fragrance is somewhat overwhelming. While the product feels light once applied, the scent is quite noticeable. It has a cotton-like smell that I personally don't enjoy. During initial use, it occasionally pills like dead skin cells, but gently rubbing it in helps smooth it out due to its soft texture.

The ice cream-like color is absolutely gorgeous! The size is perfect for popping in your bag, making it convenient to reapply anywhere, anytime. I actually prefer that it's fragrance-free, doesn't brighten the skin tone, and leaves no white cast. I usually avoid cosmetics with high oil content as they make my makeup separate, but the Toboco sun stick has almost no oily feel and isn't sticky at all. Instead, it leaves a powdery finish that feels fresh. I haven't been wearing much makeup lately, so I haven't checked if it affects makeup application. However, when I apply this sun stick followed by a brightening moisturizer, it creates a flawless, natural look without the typical clumping or pilling associated with brightening moisturizers. I highly recommend this combination!
ConsAny downsides? If I had to pick one, it might be that it's hard to tell how much you've applied to your face. But that's not really an issue - you can just reapply a few times to be safe. One more thing - after some time, I've noticed it can sometimes leave a white residue that looks a bit like dead skin cells... That's a bit disappointing.

Velvety smooth texture Oddly enough, I usually avoid sunsticks due to their greasy feel, but this one leaves a soft, powdery finish. While the nose area can't be helped, it's perfect for use as the weather starts warming up. 2. Pleasant scent The fragrance makes application a delightful experience. 3. Portability Unlike regular sunscreens, this is easy to toss in your bag and reapply on-the-go with a quick swipe. 4. Great for body use Applying it to your body before you start sweating keeps you feeling fresh and dry. 5. Attractive design The sky-blue color is so pretty and it's designed for easy carrying.
Cons1. Dryness If you have dry skin, you might need a more robust base. I felt a bit of dryness occasionally. 2. Pilling Sometimes if you're not careful, it can pill up. It might come off in little bits like dead skin. Apply moderately.
TipI find it works well on the body too. I apply it before heading out for a workout.

I mainly use hydrating products and avoid oils. I've tried several sunsticks for touch-ups in the afternoon, and I'm currently using Cynic's Enjoy Super Active Airy Sunstick. Since I have super sensitive skin, I notice the feel of products immediately. The Tocobo product is incredibly gentle with minimal oil content, causing no irritation whatsoever. The Cynic one has a slight oily feel. This product seems better suited for those with dry skin.
ConsThe square shape of the product container makes it difficult to apply precisely, even when twisted. However, the wider application surface does make it quicker to use. I've tried applying this sunstick over various base products, but it pills up like dead skin cells. While I usually apply sunscreen after my skincare routine and use a sunstick for touch-ups in the afternoon, this product is the only one that pills. The Cynic product doesn't have this issue. I'll need to reconsider how to use this effectively. I might be better off with a regular sunscreen. Still, since the product itself is good, I'll have to think about alternative application methods.

I especially liked that it wasn't sticky when wearing a mask. Surprisingly, while it felt dry on the surface, it wasn't dehydrating underneath. It was great for touch-ups outside since it doesn't transfer to your hands. The formula doesn't seem to melt or soften easily, so it should last quite a while. Best of all, there was no white cast even when applied hastily. When I'm in a rush to go out, I can quickly apply it without looking like I've poorly spread sunscreen. Despite having dry, chapped cheeks prone to wounds, I felt no tingling at all. I've tried many products claiming to be gentle, but none have been this free of irritation and sensitivity. Perhaps that's why I didn't experience any blemishes either.
ConsI'm quite diligent with my skincare routine, and I noticed this product tends to pill a bit when used with other cosmetics. It leaves residue on eyebrows and eyelashes like dirt... The scent isn't overly bothersome, but I generally prefer fragrance-free products, so that was a bit disappointing. Due to its stick shape, it was slightly challenging to apply on facial contours, and I experienced mild eye irritation.
TipThis product would be truly ideal for summer use rather than deep winter or transitional seasons. Not only because of its matte formula, but it also seems to work much better when used with a lighter skincare base.

My previous sunscreen stick was sticky and oily, which was uncomfortable. But the Tocovo Soft Sun Stick is amazingly light - even with multiple applications, it feels fresh! After applying, there's no greasiness at all. It leaves a wonderfully matte finish, so my hair doesn't stick to my face - such a relief! It's also super convenient as you can retract the stick after use. I used to dislike sunscreen sticks because they either left a white cast or weren't matte enough, always requiring me to pat them in with my fingers. But this one has zero white cast and blends effortlessly, leaving a smooth, powder-like finish - it's so easy to use! And while other sunscreen sticks I've tried quickly caused blemishes (leading me to give them away or stop using them), this product is remarkably gentle for a sun stick. I have super sensitive skin, but this has been absolutely fine for me!
ConsIt does pill slightly, so if you're planning to apply makeup over it, you need to be a bit careful and gently layer your base products. For those who only want to use it on their body, it's perfectly fine!
