ProsI love that this foundation doesn't cause any blemishes or irritation. The application is just right - not too thin or too thick.
ConsThe downside of Chanel foundations is usually that the pink-beige colors are too red... For neutral tones, BD01 is the only option...

ProsIt applies thinly and feels moisturizing, giving a comfortable sensation on the skin. Rather than looking like you're wearing makeup, it refines your complexion to make your natural skin appear healthier.
ConsEven though it's shade 21, the color is on the muted side... leaning a bit dark. B01 seems to have a really pretty color, while this one is a bit darker, so it doesn't give a bright look when used alone. Mixing the two would be perfect, but buying both is expensive... My bare face is lighter than my neck, but this matches my neck tone perfectly, giving the impression of good skin even without makeup!

ProsI have combination dehydrated skin with redness and super sensitive skin. I'm particularly vulnerable to oils, heavy oil-based products, strong vitamins, and alcohol ingredients. Pores are a concern, but as I age, my skin's oiliness is naturally decreasing, which seems to be helping 😢. My skin tends to break out with blemishes when I use sunscreen, so I'm looking for a sunscreen that won't cause an allergic reaction. So far, the recently released Hera blue tube sunscreen seems to work best for me! I'm the type whose lips get irritated when using Chanel and YSL lip products 😢
This product absorbs well and applies smoothly. It's the type that wears beautifully, looking very natural even as time passes. I'm around shade 22-23, and this color worked well for me. It has a nice balance of bounce and softness.
ConsUnfortunately, it's expensive 😢 And it feels like it's meant for people with already good skin... The coverage for blemishes is weak 😢 As someone who really needs blemish coverage, this point was disappointing for me.

ProsUnlike some foundations that clump or feel heavy, this product applies smoothly without any pilling. It spreads evenly and doesn't leave your skin feeling suffocated after application.
ConsThe price is the main drawback. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now, and while I haven't experienced any blemishes or discomfort, I wish it provided a bit more coverage. But then again, more coverage might make it too thick. I suppose it's unrealistic to expect both lightweight feel and full coverage.
TipFor areas that need extra coverage, just apply another layer.
