You don't need lipstick when you apply this. This is perfect for expressing a thin, delicate skin. The design is also pretty, and I highly recommend it. The price is quite expensive. It is not completely moisturizing! Over time, the white edge portions start to peel off.

As someone who dislikes feeling like I've applied something to my lips, I'm impressed that this isn't sticky at all and glides on smoothly. It's not bothersome, which I appreciate. The subtle sheen is also quite nice. The color is just perfect. It seems to wear off a bit easily. I received this as a gift and tried it out. The color is natural, and it applies smoothly. After application, it feels moisturizing. The lip balm also has a pleasant scent. The staying power is weak, and it tends to smudge. While it feels hydrating at first, that effect doesn't last long. Given its price, I might find it difficult to purchase it myself. The color payoff isn't as intense as it appears in the product, so you can reapply it frequently without feeling overwhelmed! I love that it looks natural even when worn alone without other makeup. It absorbs smoothly and is perfect for a natural, effortless makeup look. One layer gives a subtle effect, while 2-3 layers provide better coverage. At first glance, I thought the color was incredibly intense, but it applies smoothly and the shade appears lighter and more beautiful than expected when applied. I don't usually use lip balms, but I'm using this one now. When I go out bare-faced, I only apply this. When I'm wearing makeup, I layer it over my lipstick for extra hydration. Pros: 1. It's lightweight (more so than other brands!) 2. It's super moisturizing (my friends have noticed how hydrated my lips look since I started using it) If I skip even one day, my lips feel unbearably dry... 3. The color payoff is great too 1. The design isn't particularly attractive. 2. It's not immediately recognizable as Chanel
