I've been dealing with blemishes popping up on my face morning and night lately. This is a product I've been using every evening based on recommendations. I bought it after my dermatologist suggested it. It's gentle, absorbs well, and isn't greasy, so it feels comfortable when I apply it before bed at night. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but the price is a bit on the high side, haha. Since it's a large-volume product, be careful not to squeeze too hard or you might end up with more than you need. I've used it throughout all four seasons without any issues, but during the height of summer, those with oily skin might find it pills if applied too generously. That's why I first apply a light layer of hydrating moisturizer as a base, then use this product again before bed. I've found this method works even better for me. - he***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 12, 2025
Histolab Azulene DNA Cream is my absolute favorite! It's moisturizing and absorbs well without feeling sticky. I bought it at the dermatologist's office after a procedure, and it suits my skin perfectly. I've also tried their sunscreen and love it. While the sunscreen is good, you might need to adjust how you use it in summer as it can feel a bit rich. All Histolab products are great. Those who've had dermatological treatments probably know this brand, as most people buy it from their doctor's office after trying it. - a0**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 16, 2024
It's perfectly moisturizing and ideal for combination dehydrated skin. It's great to apply as the final step in your skincare routine. Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent. I think it would have been even better if it was a bit less rich. - no*********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 26, 2024
I love how it feels firm and not drying. It's lightweight too. The scent might be hit or miss for some, and it doesn't keep skin hydrated overnight. - dj**********Dry SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2024
It absorbs well. I like it. There's hardly any scent, which is nice. It's easy to use. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the price. It's on the expensive side. - he*****Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedSep 8, 2024
I first tried a sample from the dermatologist's office, then bought the full-size product. It had a nice, firm texture. I loved how moisturizing it was, so I've gone through several bottles. The scent is pleasantly herbal and inoffensive. It's a bit on the pricey side... Not widely available. If they could adjust the price, it would be even better. - kj*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2024
The texture is just right - not too heavy, and it absorbs well. I've been using it for over 6 months, including the larger size, and haven't experienced any major issues. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I find that applying too much leaves an oily residue. I'm not really sure about the claims that it 'settles in' to the skin. - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 1, 2024
If shea butter agrees with your skin, this could be the cream of a lifetime. When used with a serum, it gives a subtle glow and has excellent soothing effects. It also absorbs well. Even with a discount from a major retailer, it still costs over $50, which makes it quite pricey. - gp******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 28, 2024
My skin is quite oily on the forehead, nose, and chin, which makes me prone to blemishes. Meanwhile, it's dehydrated underneath, causing severe redness and heat on my cheeks. I need something soothing, but not too moisturizing. That's why I tend to use lightweight products that can still provide deep hydration! I've been battling unprecedented skin issues lately, so when my sister brought this from her dermatologist, I decided to give it a try. I can definitely say I'm experiencing fewer blemishes compared to using other creams! While it's not a dramatic improvement, it seems to prevent new breakouts. I'm only using a toner and this product, and I feel it provides good hydration and balances oil and moisture well with just the right amount of richness. The price is quite steep... If it were more reasonable, I'd definitely consider repurchasing it. - zx*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 18, 2024
I bought this after my dermatologist recommended it for post-treatment care following peels and laser treatments. I'm really satisfied with it! It absorbs well, and after application, my face feels less oily. If you have extremely dry skin, you might find the hydration level insufficient. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints.
