* This review is based on using the 20% shade. When tested on the back of my hand, there wasn't a significant difference from the 30% shade, but the 20% looks more natural on fair skin. It's incredibly natural-looking when used to enhance aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness) or slightly extend the end of double eyelids. Previously, I used eyeliner to extend my double eyelids, but no matter how thin the brush, it always looked unnatural when I closed my eyes or opened them wide. This product extends the line in a truly natural, non-artificial way. For this price and versatility, I can't really find any major downsides... However, if you apply it over a base makeup, you might need to wipe the applicator with a tissue or puff after use to ensure the ink flows well next time. This could be because I use a non-matte base, though! When I don't want to do a full face of makeup and just apply sunscreen, or when I want to cover redness but can't be bothered with full makeup and just use sunscreen + foundation (cushion), here's a trick: After basic skincare, I draw the aegyo-sal shadow, then apply sunscreen or sunscreen + foundation (cushion). This creates a natural-looking aegyo-sal effect without any eye makeup! For a full makeup look, you can work on the aegyo-sal after base makeup or add more shadow if desired. But when I just want to even out my complexion for a quick outing, this method looks more natural and like it's my own aegyo-sal!
