The Dear Glam cushion applies incredibly thin and light, yet it adheres to the skin naturally, feeling just like my own skin! When first applied, it gives a clear and sheer sensation, and as time passes, it doesn't break down but rather beautifully melts into the skin, which I absolutely adored. Especially impressive is how it doesn't flake or transfer messily when it wears, but instead seamlessly blends with your skin texture, to the point where touch-ups weren't even necessary. The puff is delightfully bouncy with just the right elasticity, perfect for thin application. Despite its hydrating formula, it's not sticky at all, so it feels comfortable and maintains a lightweight feel throughout the day. I highly recommend this as a daily cushion foundation! I love it so much that if a lighter shade becomes available, I'd definitely repurchase! - wn******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2025
As someone with extremely dry skin prone to flaking, I often struggle with foundation breaking apart, settling into lines, and cracking. However, this product provided excellent hydration and moisture. It's great for creating a natural, dewy glow and has impressive staying power. To be honest, I haven't noticed any significant drawbacks yet! A must-have for those with dry skin! - kw*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 7, 2025
Used until May 7, 2025 It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel, and the coverage was better than I expected. Even long after application, there was no dryness, and my makeup didn't look cakey, which I loved. I was satisfied with how well it concealed redness, gave a radiant appearance, and provided a subtle glow. A small amount doesn't provide much coverage, but if you apply generously with a puff and pat it in, it covers well. - gk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 21, 2025
If you're looking for a cushion foundation that gives a natural, sheer coverage with a glow, I highly recommend this one! 1. It gives a subtle radiance that looks like my skin's Inner Glow - it's so beautiful! 2. It applies thinly. Even makeup beginners can achieve a sheer look easily, as it's hard to overdo even if you use a lot. 3. It's especially great for those with very dry or dry skin. I didn't experience any flaking around the nose or feel any dryness while using it. 4. It doesn't darken much. Usually, glowy cushions tend to darken significantly, but I didn't notice much with this one. So it might be good for those with oily skin who want to try a light, glowy cushion. Personally, it lived up to all the reviews I'd read! 5. Recommended if you're looking for a summer glow cushion. 1. Not recommended if you're looking for coverage like a full-coverage cushion. This cushion applies thinly and creates a natural, subtle glow, so if the coverage is too heavy, you won't get that sheer makeup look! - Instead, you can achieve higher coverage base makeup by first using concealer and a brightening moisturizer for initial coverage. 2. This product only brightens the complexion by half a shade. It's such a natural cushion that if you want to brighten your skin tone by one or two shades, you'll need to do some base work first! 1. I recommend using a brightening or slightly covering base beforehand. Having a thin base layer makes it easier to apply the cushion thinly and beautifully. 2. I suggest applying at least two layers. Applying two thin layers provides better coverage. - ch*********Dry SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2025
I absolutely love this cushion! It not only provides great coverage but also gives my skin a beautiful glow and dewy finish. I'm definitely sticking with this one from now on. My friends keep asking what I'm using on my skin. Highly recommend! There wasn't really anything to complain about! It's even better that it comes with a refill. - al*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
I have some acne scars and blemishes, but this cushion provides great coverage along with a dewy glow. I have fair skin, and shade 21 matches my complexion perfectly. I didn't experience any disappointing aspects in terms of application or any blemishes or side effects. For best results, spray a mist before applying the cushion and complete your base makeup. Then, spray the mist again to maximize the effects of this ampoule cushion. - lo********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 30, 2024
As someone with dry skin that doesn't produce much oil, here's my overall review of the Dear Glam Glow Ampoule Cushion: Feels moisturizing with a cooling effect when applied Subtle glow without being greasy or shiny Shade 21 is a neutral beige without redness (beautiful color, not too dark) Minimal transfer Medium to high coverage Great adherence, longevity, and staying power Doesn't settle into pores or emphasize them No creasing, darkening, or separation even after hours of wear I'd definitely repurchase with my own money! Recommended for normal to dry skin Might work well for oily skin too, as it doesn't feel sticky or heavy While the flat case is great for portability, the mirror-like front seems prone to scratches. As for the product itself, I couldn't find any drawbacks. Even when applied thickly, it gives a subtle, dewy glow with excellent adherence. For areas needing more coverage, press the puff firmly to build it up. For the rest of your face, blend it out thinly. This technique creates a natural-looking complexion as if you were blessed with naturally flawless skin. - ke*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedSep 8, 2024
While searching for a hydrating cushion foundation, I decided to try the Dear Glam Ampoule Cushion. Like other reviews mentioned, it was incredibly moisturizing and adhered naturally to my skin, making the makeup last longer. The coverage was quite good too, effectively concealing small blemishes and redness. A major plus was that my skin stayed hydrated until the afternoon without any touch-ups, and the makeup didn't break down! Among hydrating cushions, its coverage is notably good, but it's not extremely powerful. Those with a lot of blemishes might need to use a concealer as well. - ah********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 7, 2023
I'm a cushion foundation nomad. During the pandemic, it seemed like only matte types were being released. That's when I realized matte types don't suit me well. I tried this one after using my friend's and liked it, so I bought it. It has good coverage without looking cakey. It adheres well to the skin with a nice, firm texture - it really sticks on and blends seamlessly. It feels like my own skin. The formula is fine and thin. It's moisturizing and gives a beautiful complexion. The color matches my skin tone well (I have neutral skin, though I look cool-toned in photos). The case is pretty and sturdy too. I've been using it for about 6 months now, and my opinion hasn't changed - I'm still loving it. It's also great for touch-ups. There are no downsides to mention. Truly, I can't think of any cons. - aa*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2023
It's wonderfully moisturizing and perfect for touch-ups. The best part is that it doesn't break down throughout the day. It seems only suitable for those with a standard #21 complexion. If you're any lighter than that, it might not work for you. My skin is lighter than #21, and when I use it, it makes me look dull.
