But now, the world has changed! The Dasique palette is such a versatile eyeshadow collection that there's truly no color I'd want to discard. If anything, the "drawback" - which is actually a benefit - is that I spend more time deliberating because I want to use all the colors when I start my eye makeup.
ConsIf it had included just one slightly shimmery shade, it would have scored 200 out of 100. But even as it is, I'm giving it a perfect score!
TipThe Dasique palette offers excellent versatility, making every shade usable. This is a refreshing change from typical palettes that often include colors that go to waste. The quality and wearability of each shade are so high that it actually creates a pleasant dilemma of wanting to use them all. While a shimmery option could have elevated it further, the existing selection is already outstanding, earning top marks for its thoughtful curation and performance.

There's minimal excess powder, and it doesn't clump, making it easy for beginners to create gradients. When applied to the eyelids, it creates a clean, polished look. The shading colors are light and airy, giving a sophisticated feel without being heavy. And the shimmer! It's truly the highlight. Not overdone, but when applied to the eyes, it diffuses softly with an ethereal glow. Perfect for daily use, and when you add a touch for special occasions, it's absolutely stunning. For cool-toned skin, the color range suits spring/summer/winter cool tones beautifully. The palette's calm pink to purple shades allow for creating atmospheric looks. I use it for everything - inner corners, aegyo-sal (under-eye area), contouring, and accent colors. Key points: ✔ Highly recommended for those seeking a cool-toned daily palette ✔ Excellent balance from matte to glitter shades ✔ Even beginners can easily create sophisticated eye makeup
ConsIf there's a downside, the color payoff is a bit weak, and the glitter shades apply more beautifully with fingers or a silicone tip rather than a brush. But even considering this, the satisfaction level is high!

Highly recommended for cool to mute undertones 2. Perfect for makeup beginners or those who prefer a subtle look, as the color payoff isn't too intense 3. Ideal for cool-toned folks tired of palettes that sneak in warm shades or go overboard with bright pinks and purples This palette ticks all the boxes: ✨ No overly bright pinks, vibrant shades, or intense lavender-purples ✨ A well-thought-out combination of base, contour, and accent colors ✨ Stays true to its cool-toned promise without any ambiguous or warm shades Finding a cool-toned palette that meets these criteria is surprisingly rare! Among the sea of so-called 'cool' palettes drowning in hot pinks and deep purples, this one stands out as genuinely usable for those with cool complexions. It's one of the few versatile cool palettes out there. To be honest, with the scarcity of truly cool-toned palettes, I'll likely stick to this one and another brand's 'Peony' palette as my go-to options until something new and impressive comes along.
ConsThe color payoff is decent, but not exceptional. The texture is slightly powdery, which allows for easy blending but can make the colors appear a bit sheer. For me, this is actually a plus - it's forgiving for those who are still mastering eyeshadow application or struggle with controlling the amount of product. However, due to its softness, there can be some fallout.

I've been eyeing it for ages and even sold a few other palettes to get my hands on it. It's absolutely stunning! The pigmentation is richer than I expected, and it doesn't have an overly ashy undertone, which is fantastic. The colors are so gorgeous that I've been using every single shade. Unlike other palettes where I only use a few colors, I love that I can make use of every hue in this one. It's a dream come true! The excess is minimal too, so I'm planning to make this my go-to palette.
ConsIt's so good that I can hardly find any downsides! The case is beautiful, and all the colors are lovely... I absolutely adore everything about it! If I had to pick one tiny flaw, it might be that it's best suited for light cool-toned skin. That's how perfect it is for me! I initially thought it was a bit pricey, but I'm so satisfied with the value for money. I really hope everyone gets a chance to try all the shades!
TipHere's my go-to look: I use shades 1 and 2 as a base, 5 for the aegyo-sal (under-eye puff), 6 for the outer corner and crease line. Then I add more of 3 and 4 to the aegyo-sal, mix 7 and 8 for contouring, and use 9 for aegyo-sal shadow and eyeliner. When I'm in a rush, I just use 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9. It's quick and effortless!

Color 2: Color 1 + a touch of pink, great for base and aegyo-sal in brighter makeup looks. Color 3: Slightly less radiant than colors 1 and 2, works well as a subtle contour shade. Color 4: A hint of redness, ideal for a light makeup day - just apply and go! Color 7: Definitely adds dimension, a shadow color free of red or yellow undertones. Color 8: A bit deeper than color 7, versatile for aegyo-sal shadow, outer corner, and more!
ConsSlight excess powder? But honestly, it's not a big deal... The colors are so pretty, I'm satisfied!
TipCheck out the photos! I've written it all down.

Their 4-pan palettes do have quite weak pigmentation. But this one? It's just so-so. The color payoff might be a bit subtle, but the shades are truly beautiful. I have cool undertones but my skin tends to work with most colors, so I've always found it tricky to find the right shades. Using this palette, though, I thought 'Oh, this actually looks good!' for the first time.
ConsThe color payoff is weak and the longevity is a bit poor too. As I was using it, one of the eyeshadows near the corner cracked... so disappointing.

As someone with a deep undertone who loves muted tones, I snagged the Dasique eyeshadow palette. I didn't pay full price though - I scored it for about 4,000 won on a secondhand market. First off, this product is a win for me since I'm not a fan of shimmer on my eyelids and it's mostly matte shadows. As I mentioned, my deep undertone usually clashes with heavily gray-tinted summer mute products, but this one isn't too extreme, making it comfortable to use.
ConsEven at 4,000 won, I noticed some downsides... I'd have been pretty upset if I'd paid full price. ✔️ Price To be honest, it's overpriced. Not to generalize, but I think Dasique's prices are too high compared to their product quality. This palette in particular is expensive even when discounted, which is why I've held off buying it until now - and ended up getting it secondhand. ✔️ Fallout ≠ Pigmentation Let's be real - this product has fallout. I don't usually mind fallout if the pigmentation is good, but in this case, it's lacking. It might work okay if you layer it, but honestly, I felt the shadow quality wasn't great overall. ✔️ Ambiguous Colors While the colors worked for me, I feel the combination might be off for others. It might be too gray for Summer Lights, slightly warm for Cool tones, and not quite right for Summer Mutes. I'd recommend buying based on the colors you see.

There are 9 shades, giving you lots of versatility. 2. The color selection is seriously on point. 3. As a student, I usually avoid palettes with shimmer, so I love that this one is all matte. 4. I've dropped it 3 times and only shade #9 cracked a little - it's super durable! While I highly recommend this for students, it is a bit pricey.
Cons1. The colors can look a bit ashy. 2. It's expensive. 3. If you have darker skin, most shades except 8 and 9 barely show up. 4. The amount of product is small. 5. The lid is difficult to open.
TipI use shade 1 and 8 for aegyo sal (under-eye puff) and contouring, 7 for the outer corner, and 9 is a bit too dark so I rarely use it - maybe for lining? 2 has some ashiness but works as a base, and I use 4 and 6 for the main eyeshadow look.

After testing various options at Olive Young, this one caught my eye. I love eyeshadows without red undertones, and this palette's colors have a whitish tint without any redness, which I absolutely adore! Application: - You can tell just by applying it with your fingers - the texture is incredibly smooth! It allows for a soft, dreamy makeup look. No excess powder: - While it's impossible to completely eliminate fallout with eyeshadows, this one has minimal powder kickup! I barely noticed any when applying with my fingers, and even with a brush, it's not bothersome at all. Composition: - The most important thing about a palette is having no throwaway shades, right? Cool-toned individuals will be really satisfied with this selection! As shown in the photo, I use these 6 colors almost daily. After using it, I understand why this palette is so popular!
ConsI love it so much, I can't think of any downsides! The only thing I'd suggest is maybe offering a special set with dedicated brushes? (Is there such a set available?)
TipStart by applying the lighter shades at the top as a base. Then, mix the three middle shades for the aegyo-sal (under-eye) area. Finally, use the bottom colors to fill in the double eyelid line and outer corner for a natural, dimensional makeup look!

The overall soft colors barely show when applied, which is its charm. I love that I can complete my entire eye makeup look with this palette! I mix shades 7 and 8 for a subtle aegyo-sal contour, brighten the under-eye area with shade 1, use 6 for the outer corner, and 2 and 3 as base colors - it all looks so natural and pretty. Don't forget to use shade 9 to soften your eyeliner edges for a seamless look.
ConsAs a matte palette without shimmer, it's right up my alley, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer sparkle or more noticeable makeup. Also, Daisique products are generally on the pricier side.
