I'm too lazy to put anything on my face, but just swiping on some sunscreen feels so good since it's already applied. I enjoy long-distance running, but I feel like the sweat makes my face look flushed and it disappears quickly. Even after applying something, my skin feels like it's all burned. That's a bit disappointing. - am********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
The sunstick format makes it super easy to use, which I love. It's also compact and perfect for on-the-go! As someone who's only tried two sunsticks, including this one, I can't claim to be an expert. However, I really like how it doesn't feel sticky right after application and leaves a slightly powdery finish. If you hate stickiness, I'd definitely recommend this! As someone with sensitive nose, I often toss products with strange scents, but this one is pleasantly fragrance-free. (I'd rate it 3.5 stars rather than 3!) After a while, it develops a slight sheen. For my combination dehydrated skin, this makes me look a bit too shiny! For those with oily or combination dehydrated skin, I'd suggest using blotting paper or powder after application. Alternatively, try applying smaller amounts in multiple layers with some time in between. - gu*********Oily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 1, 2024
A product that's easy to use without any fuss I used it without high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. It has almost no sticky feeling typical of some products, and the packaging isn't bulky, making it perfect to carry in my makeup pouch for on-the-go use. None I'd love to see this product available in more stores for easier access. - 48****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 6, 2024
I bought this because I hate applying sticky sunscreen in summer, and it was truly fantastic - it goes on light and leaves skin feeling powder-soft. It was also convenient to carry around and quickly reapply before stepping out of buildings. The downside is that it doesn't feel like it fully adheres to the skin, but rather creates a film-like layer. I expected it to feel like I wasn't wearing sunscreen at all, but that wasn't quite the case. - ma********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2024
I absolutely adore Emqurie products and love how effective they are - it's become one of my favorite brands! I don't usually wear much makeup, and I prefer sunscreen products that I can use lightly even when I'm at home. Sunsticks are especially convenient to carry around and apply, so I mainly use those! The Emqurie sunstick is fantastic because it offers anti-aging benefits while also being resistant to sweat and oil, so it doesn't pill. When it melts with your body heat during application, it initially feels a bit oily, but as you pat it in, it becomes wonderfully powdery with no stickiness at all! The finish feels like you've just applied a light dusting of powder. It's such a great product because you can use it easily every day while also taking care of your skin! With sunstick products, it seems you need to make sure all your skincare products are fully absorbed before applying to avoid any pilling. - si*********Oily SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedDec 8, 2023
Love it! It's easy to apply quickly when you're in a rush, and after application, it leaves a slightly soft and powdery feeling. As someone with oily skin, I enjoyed this, but I can see how some might not like this aspect. Still, I appreciate the somewhat luxurious design and the fact that it's not sticky, so I use it frequently. As I mentioned in the positives, the powdery feeling might be hit or miss for some people! Also, while it didn't bother me, some might find the lack of fragrance disappointing. Oh, and the powdery sensation doesn't last long, but since sunscreen needs to be reapplied frequently anyway, this wasn't an issue for me. - te*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 16, 2023
You've probably tried most sunscreen products out there, right? Same here. From sunscreens to essence formulas, sun cushions, and even sun sprays. Of course, I've tried several sun sticks too. Sun sticks are convenient to use, but sometimes they can feel sticky on the face or create an oily film that can be irritating. The M'CURY Core Sun Stick minimizes these drawbacks, truly living up to its claim of being a powder-finish sun stick. When you twist the body of the stick, the product inside rises up. Its slim, horizontal design makes it easy to apply on small areas and contours like around the nose and above the lips. What I loved most was how powdery it felt after application. While it may not seem much different from other sun sticks during application, after 2-3 minutes, the oils are completely absorbed. It feels non-sticky to the touch, and even when your phone screen comes in contact with your skin, there's virtually zero stickiness. It doesn't pill under makeup either. Even when you sweat, there's no greasy or runny feeling. It's truly powder-like. Among all the sun sticks I've tried, this one tops the list for its powder finish and final feel. The sleek design makes it great for men to carry around and apply too. It's a sun stick that even men can appreciate. There's really nothing to criticize. It feels like a product I'll stick with. Highly recommended, especially for men. - ch*******Dehydrated SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 14, 2023
I love how this blurring powder gives a matte finish without any stickiness. It's lightweight and convenient to carry around. Since it doesn't get on your hands and is easy to reapply, it's become an essential item in my bag for outdoor activities. While it's great that there's no white cast, it's disappointing that it uses organic UV filters. For environmental protection, I'd recommend using mineral sunscreens instead. - aa*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 24, 2023
Advantages: Application: The balm stick format glides on incredibly smoothly. The best part is you can apply it conveniently without getting anything on your hands. Since most sunscreens have similar effectiveness, brands compete on price or ease of use. This one's a winner - you can easily reapply every 4-5 hours when you're out, just by pulling out a mirror. Packaging: I'm writing this review mainly because of the case. To use it, you twist the bottom - it's so fun watching it rise up with each turn! When you're done, twist left and close the cap. It seems packaging is getting more entertaining these days. Super practical too! Scent: It's not completely fragrance-free, but the scent isn't noticeable enough to be bothersome. Easy to use without issues. Ingredients: I have sensitive skin, but experienced no discomfort or blemishes while using this. White cast & pilling: One of the most crucial factors for sunscreen is whether it leaves a white cast - this one doesn't. For reference, I absolutely hate white casts. Also, it doesn't pill or separate when I apply cushion foundation over it. Oh, and I didn't experience any eye irritation either. This has become one of my favorite sunscreens for its convenience. No real downsides! If I had to nitpick, it might be that it's so matte that your makeup could look a bit dry afterwards? If you're worried about your makeup looking dry, try spritzing some face mist before applying your cushion foundation. This can help create that coveted 'mochi skin' look. - ja******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2023
First off, I love how easy it is to apply this sunstick with just a few swipes! It seems to provide great sun protection too. The small, compact size makes it super portable. Plus, it's fragrance-free and comes in a nice container! The price is a bit steep for the amount you get. It absorbs so well that you can hardly tell you've applied anything! Being a sunstick, you just swipe it on and you're done!
