Perfect for summer use, and it applies smoothly. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a sunscreen that brightens your complexion. The white cast seems a bit intense, and it leaves my skin feeling slightly dry after application. - sn******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 6, 2024
Absorbs well. As someone who doesn't wear makeup, I appreciated the subtle brightening effect it provided, giving just the right amount of tone-up without leaving a white cast. Slightly drying. Can't see how much product is left. It's a bit inconvenient having to shake it constantly before use. - sh*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 26, 2024
This is the best mineral sunscreen I've ever used! I wonder why they're not promoting it more? If they gave some YouTubers paid sponsorships and did a seeding round, I think it would get a great response. It barely leaves any dead skin cells or settles into wrinkles, absorbs well, doesn't leave a white cast, and doesn't sit on top of the skin - it's so comfortable to wear. If you haven't found your holy grail sunscreen yet, you absolutely must try this one! It's my favorite mineral sunscreen, so I don't have any complaints. - ph******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2024
I found this mineral sunscreen that's easy to wash off! Bought it on Hwahae's recommendation. It's incredibly gentle, haha! I've settled on this for my mineral sunscreen needs. And yes, it's truly easy to wash off! As for sun protection, reapplying regularly is more important anyway... Plus, since the super picky Hwahae Testers recommended it, I think it's safe to give it a try! There's nothing bad to say, really. I'm completely satisfied and love it so much. From now on, this is my go-to mineral sunscreen. If you don't shake it before use, suddenly clear liquid comes out... - an*****Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 28, 2024
Among mineral sunscreens, this one gives the prettiest brightening effect that lasts long. I highly recommend it as a tone-evening base primer (though it doesn't provide coverage). When the heater is on for a long time, it can cause deep dryness. I haven't found any mineral sunscreen that can withstand heater-induced deep dryness. Make sure to apply it after your skincare has fully absorbed. There's a slight rich or hydrated glow right after application, but it fades with time, so I don't recommend using powder over it. - dk********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2024
Great value for money and easy to apply generously. A solid, reliable product. It leaves a noticeable white cast and the sun protection is on the lower side with only SPF 30. - tu*********Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 30, 2023
I discovered the brand Skin&Lab while watching the channel of the famous makeup artist Yoo Hwa-i. The small purple box fits perfectly in my hand, suggesting the product inside isn't too large. I was pleased to see the high SPF 50/ PA++++ sun protection factor. As expected, it has a compact design that fits in one hand, with a narrow opening. If you don't shake it, only a whitish watery formula might come out, so it's essential to shake well before use. When you shake the product, you hear a clicking sound that helps mix the contents (though I'm not sure what causes it). The formula flows easily with just a slight tilt, indicating excellent fluidity. Having previously used a cream-type product, I was initially surprised but quickly adapted. Given its moisturizing formula, it applies and absorbs well. There's a slight hint of the typical sunscreen scent, but it's nearly fragrance-free, making it a great recommendation for those sensitive to scents. I checked the level of white cast. In my opinion, some white cast is inevitable with sunscreens. The Skin&Lab Barrier Derm Sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen. The advantage of mineral sunscreens is that they're less irritating and safer for sensitive skin :) While typical mineral sunscreens are known for leaving a white cast and being difficult to spread, this Skin&Lab sunscreen has a fluid texture that applies easily, and the white cast isn't severe. Personally, I prefer a slight, not excessive, white cast, so I was satisfied. Moreover, it's formulated without 20 concerning ingredients like oxybenzone, silicone oils, and potential allergens, which aren't good for the skin. As someone who occasionally visits the dermatologist for acne issues, I think this might be beneficial for my skin and I'm looking forward to trying it out. The container is a bit rigid. I wonder if they made it that way because the formula is runny, but as a user, it feels unfamiliar... I think a tube type would have been better. - su*********Normal SkinRecommendedSep 23, 2023
As someone with dry, lazy skin who's never been able to use foundation or cushions due to feeling suffocated, I usually rely on sunscreens with a white cast or BB creams with corrective effects. For me, this is the ultimate summer sunscreen. I'm writing this in hopes it never gets discontinued and keeps being produced. 1. Even on hot days with lots of outdoor activities when everything else would melt off my skin, this sunscreen stays put. It can be a bit drying, so I make sure to apply a good moisturizer even in summer before using this sunscreen. My skin feels slightly dry in the evening, but it's manageable. I use a different product in winter. 2. From April, I start using a moisturizer + this sunscreen, and people often ask if I'm really not wearing foundation or cushion. They say my skin looks clear. Despite having acne scars and dark spots that come with age, while the white cast doesn't cover everything, it makes my skin look brighter overall and even I can see the improvement. 3. Among all the mineral sunscreens I've tried, this has the best absorption. I also appreciate that it's fragrance-free. 4. Some strong, drying mineral sunscreens can be hard to remove even with oil cleansers and have caused me blemishes. This sunscreen, however, comes off easily with a cleansing oil and has never given me any skin troubles. This isn't really the sunscreen's fault, but my own mistake... When it was forecast to rain, I forgot to bring this sunscreen on a trip. My face got a bit tanned and darker. For about two weeks until my skin tone returned to normal, the brightening effect of this sunscreen's white cast didn't seem to work. If your skin tone is darker than shade 21, the brightening effect of this sunscreen might be less noticeable. - an********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2023
I'm impressed by the quality ingredients, which I really like. Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't sting my eyes. It's not so much a downside, but those who've used mineral sunscreens a lot will understand the feeling of having a layer on your skin. You need to apply small amounts multiple times to ensure it absorbs well into the skin. - dk*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2023
The mugwort essence is amazing! It brightens my skin and absorbs like water, which I love. It doesn't seem to work well with makeup, as it makes my face look too bright.
