As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, I've found that most cushion foundations feel heavy or break down messily. However, this product is a game-changer! It applies lightly and, even as my natural oils surface throughout the day, it doesn't deteriorate into a mess. I'm really impressed with how well it holds up. If you're looking for high coverage, you might want to temper your expectations with this one. - jj********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 29, 2025
The complexion naturally brightens, and it adheres well to the skin, making it great for a foundation-free look. It's not quite perfect for going completely foundation-free, as there's a slight hint of shine. - n8*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 29, 2025
It applies smoothly, which I really like, and it makes my skin look bright and clean. The coverage is a bit lacking (though that's understandable given the nature of the product), and there seems to be a slight darkening effect. - sd******Oily SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 27, 2025
Gives a foundation-like skin tone improvement It's a mineral sunscreen, so it feels pleasantly matte Makes my face too dry, causing more oiliness Feels like foundation, so when it breaks down it looks really unattractive Seems like you need to apply it in thin layers, using small amounts. And double cleansing is absolutely necessary - kv*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 27, 2025
I purchased this product on my doctor's recommendation after receiving treatment for skin pigmentation. Being an organic sunscreen, it causes less eye irritation and absorbs well. It's quickly absorbed when applied, and unlike mineral sunscreens, it doesn't leave a white cast or excessive shine, which I really appreciate. First off, as the quality is high, it's a bit on the pricey side. Given how good the product is, I don't have any other complaints. It would be nice if they offered a smaller size option. Since it's meant for preventing pigmentation, I need to reapply throughout the day, so I carry it separately in my bag. - ji********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 27, 2025
When I need to step out for a quick errand without full makeup, I lightly apply this. It gives me that natural "no-makeup makeup" look, which I absolutely love. It might depend on my skin condition, but there were quite a few days when it pilled a bit, so I had to pay extra attention to my skincare routine. However, it wasn't uncomfortable enough to be a real issue, so it's still okay. After applying this and then using a cushion foundation, it creates a natural brightening effect. - ly*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2025
Among foundation-free options, this product offers the best blemish coverage! It absorbs well and doesn't leave my skin feeling too rich, which I really appreciate. As with most products, if you wear it for too long, it can lead to excessive oil production and blemishes! It's probably best to remove it promptly. If you apply sunscreen and then set it with powder, your complexion looks incredibly clear! - hl*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinJun 25, 2025
It covers better than other brightening moisturizers. It's also easy to apply. For someone with dry skin like me, it feels quite drying. That's why I don't reach for it very often. - jh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 25, 2025
I took a photo after applying it, but while it gives a slight brightening effect in person, it's not visible in the picture. What a shame! I've finished using Manyo Factory's Pore-Tightening Sunscreen Moisture and now I'm using the Original version. Personally, I find the Original suits me much better. The coverage is less than the Moisture version, and there's a difference in texture - the Original feels much more hydrating. The Moisture version feels a bit... stiff? The Original has a more watery consistency, so it applies in a thin layer. In terms of coverage, Moisture > Original. But that doesn't bother me much since I can always use concealer. The reason I wasn't satisfied with the Moisture version was that no matter how I applied my skincare, it would always pill up after a while... Since I have combination dehydrated skin, my cheeks are dry, but in winter, they get flaky. It was a total mess. This Pore-Tightening Sunscreen doesn't pill at all! Admittedly, some oil does come through in the T-zone, but it's manageable with a primer. While I wouldn't go as far as to say "This is way better than other brands' pore-tightening sunscreens, so buy this one!", I would definitely recommend the Original over the Moisture version when comparing Manyo Factory's Pore-Tightening Sunscreens. Due to its hydrating nature, it doesn't offer high coverage. However, this can be addressed with concealer. Whatever base you use, make sure your skincare is fully absorbed before applying to prevent pilling! - gk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 23, 2025
I've been loyal to this foundation-free sunscreen for about three tubes now. It's perfect for those times when foundation or cushion feels too heavy. I even wear it for light makeup days. It manages oil decently (not dramatically, mind you) and evens out my complexion beautifully. I'm in love with how it leaves my skin looking clean and fresh. The coverage is only about 60%. But then again, expecting high coverage from a sunscreen seems a bit unreasonable to begin with. The staying power isn't top-notch either. This sunscreen strikes a nice balance between skincare and makeup. It's great for those who want a natural, "no-makeup" look while still getting sun protection. The light coverage helps to even out skin tone without feeling heavy, making it ideal for daily wear. However, if you're looking for full coverage or long-lasting wear, you might need to layer it with other products or touch up throughout the day.
