  This soothing serum contains organic water dropwort extract from Suncheon Bay. I was excited to try this water dropwort serum that quickly calms irritated skin! Applying it, I found the texture absorbs without any stickiness, finishing with a fresh feel - perfect for summer! It's going to be great for oily summer skin. Layering it twice in the evening, my combination skin didn't feel like it lacked hydration or was too lightweight. I'm thinking of trying the matching moisturizer from this line in fall and winter! While it absorbs well, it's not just a light serum - it really fills the skin with hydration. It was fantastic for calming redness on my cheeks and using on sensitive skin without causing any blemishes.

  1. Completely fragrance-free I was so pleased that there was absolutely no scent when applying it, making it very comfortable to use! 2. Absorbs well The texture is just right - not too sticky and not too watery. It feels like an ampoule, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin after application!

  Cons

  1. Triggers small blemishes I stopped using my regular ampoule and started using this product morning and evening. However, on the second morning, I noticed a significant increase in small blemishes. My skin had been gradually improving with acne medication, but this product caused a setback... 2. Minimal soothing effect Personally, I didn't experience much of a cooling effect or soothing sensation while using this product...

  Pros

  I loved that it wasn't sticky at all! It wasn't as drying as I expected. I'm not sure about its soothing effects, but it seems perfect for summer use. Being a hydrating ampoule, it's easy to apply generously. Overall, it's a decent ampoule.

  Pros

  Skin type: Dry + T-zone combination, sensitive skin Texture and application: It's a lightweight essence-type serum with a slight viscosity! The formula itself doesn't feel heavy or sticky, so one pump is enough to cover your entire face. It absorbs quickly and leaves no stickiness after absorption. Calming effect: During the changing seasons, I kept getting blemishes, a burning sensation, and red marks, but this serum quickly calmed the redness and lowered my skin temperature right after application! While it didn't have a significant calming effect on larger blemishes, it worked well on redness and the heat that rises to my face.

  Cons

  The hydration was a bit disappointing. During the seasonal change, I kept getting dead skin cells, and even with cream, my skin would be dry when I woke up. Switching from my usual serum to this one didn't make much difference... So before bed, I apply it two or three times in layers. However, it wasn't bad when used before makeup as it didn't cause pilling or feel heavy.

  Tip

  If you soak a thin cotton pad with an appropriate amount and place it on areas where your skin feels hot, it's like a calming mask! Before bed, if you use it as a mask like this and then layer it twice, you can get both calming and hydrating effects!

  I've been using this for about a week now. I thought it would have a scent since it's called a 'water dropwort serum', but it's actually fragrance-free, which made it easy to apply! I'm not sure if I felt it cooling down my skin, but the absorption and texture were great. I could feel it absorbing quickly without any stickiness, even though I hadn't applied it long ago or patted it in much. It leaves a moisturized yet fresh feeling?! Those who dislike sticky products will probably love this! However, I didn't really feel a calming effect after applying it... sigh.
