  Pros

  I've been using this for about a week now. I thought it would have a scent since it's called a 'water dropwort serum', but it's actually fragrance-free, which made it easy to apply! I'm not sure if I felt it cooling down my skin, but the absorption and texture were great. I could feel it absorbing quickly without any stickiness, even though I hadn't applied it long ago or patted it in much. It leaves a moisturized yet fresh feeling?! Those who dislike sticky products will probably love this! However, I didn't really feel a calming effect after applying it... sigh.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's because of the serum or because I haven't been sleeping well lately, but I've developed some blemishes. They're not like pustules, just a few small bumps that have appeared.

  ★ The Hwahae Testers Review ★ Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin I was introduced to the La Taplan brand for the first time through The Hwahae Testers experience. Unfortunately, it seems this product wasn't quite right for me. The texture is thin and fluid, which I absolutely loved as it absorbs into the skin like it's melting in when applied. However, strangely enough, it stung my skin quite a bit. I couldn't figure out why it was so irritating... Thinking it might be incompatible with my other skincare products, I tried using it alone, but it still stung. Nevertheless, I really appreciated its absorption, how it applies, and the perfect amount of hydration left on the skin after absorption. It would be an ideal lightweight serum for the suddenly cold weather we're experiencing now.

  Cons

  It didn't suit my skin at all, causing stinging and even itching when used. If this wasn't a review for The Hwahae Testers, I would have found it difficult to continue using. While I really loved the texture and how it applies, it's such a shame that it just doesn't agree with my skin from the start.

  Pros

  The design is absolutely gorgeous! It comes with a cap, which is hygienic, and it absorbs well into the skin. The scent is nearly undetectable, though there's a slight fragrance that's not unpleasant. It's perfect for easy application.

  Cons

  I had high hopes for its soothing effects, but I'm not sure if it's working. What's worse, it seems to clash with my other skincare products, actually causing blemishes. I've tried switching things around, but this one doesn't seem to be any better than the others.

  Tip

  Finding the right combination of skincare products seems crucial. If you're not careful, it can do more harm than good. Fortunately, I've found a routine that works well now, but I struggled initially when my skin reacted badly. As the weather's getting cooler, focusing on hydration is key. Overall, it's convenient enough to use.

  After using from May 10th to May 20th, here's my review: Skin type: Super sensitive skin, combination dehydrated skin (oily T-zone, dry U-zone) Texture: Light serum-like feel that absorbs well Sensation: Cooling effect, slight tingling on sensitive areas Positives: When applied as part of my nightly routine, I noticed my skin texture felt smoother the next morning

  It didn't suit my skin that tends to get oily, causing small blemishes to appear on my forehead

  Tip

  Since it can make the skin feel rich, I'd recommend using it for your nightly routine rather than in the morning!

  Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin, comedonal acne, sensitive Usage period: May 9th onwards Texture ★★★☆☆: It's not a thick consistency, but not watery either. I'd say it's somewhere in between. Hydration ★★★☆☆: It feels like it's hydrating, but it's not. Using this alone would be extremely drying... An emulsion is a must, and a cream is essential! Oil content ★★☆☆☆: There's barely any oil. It's really dry. If I had to guess, it's probably 90% water, 10% oil. Absorption ★★★★☆: It absorbs well with no stickiness. I applied it by rubbing it between my hands and then onto my face. It feels soft and smooth, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave any sticky residue, which I liked. Soothing ★★★☆☆: I have super sensitive skin, so my face is always red after cleansing. I had some hopes for this, but I'm not sure if it's actually soothing. I've been having some blemishes here and there lately due to poor overall health, and it didn't seem to calm them down. Blemish control ★★★☆☆: As mentioned above, I applied this when I wasn't feeling well. Despite using such a gentle product, it didn't soothe my skin at all, and I even got some small blemishes. I quickly stopped using it and went back to my regular toner and cream. Fortunately, when my condition improved a bit and I tried it again, I didn't get any more small blemishes. I guess it might be better not to use this when your skin isn't in good condition. Scent ★★★★★: When I first received the product, I dropped a bit on the back of my hand to smell it. Initially, I thought it had a grassy scent. But after using it daily, I can't really smell anything anymore. It's great that it doesn't contain added fragrances! Packaging ★★★★★: The container is a squeeze type, which is very convenient and easy to keep clean. I always felt a bit uneasy about droppers, but this squeeze format makes me feel more at ease when using it. Overall rating ★★★☆☆: It's definitely a gentle product, but I can't say it works well for me. Above all, I was stressed when small bumps appeared after applying it when my skin wasn't in good condition. I'm not sure if it's actually soothing, but I'm continuing to use it since I have it. I'd say there's almost zero chance I'd spend my own money to buy this again.

Small bumps appear Fortunately, the small bumps aren't very noticeable now, but if your overall health or skin condition isn't good, you might want to avoid using this. Small bumps tend to appear.
