The compact is flat and lightweight, making it great for on-the-go. It's brighter and more hydrating than the semi-matte version. I bought it because I liked the semi-matte, but unfortunately the color didn't suit me. It would have been better if both textures came in two shades: pink beige and neutral tone. - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 4, 2023
As someone with warm deep undertones in shade 21, dry eye and mouth areas, oily T-zone, redness, and large pores, I prioritize skin texture over coverage. This cushion is truly remarkable! Though called 'Semi-Glow', on my skin it delivers a radiant, luminous glow. Apply gently to avoid pore-clogging and pilling. The firm puff requires a light tapping motion to prevent imprints, especially around the nose and cheeks. While not lacking in adherence, its moisturizing formula suits both very dry and normal-dry skin types. The beautiful glow enhances skin texture nicely. Though it slightly sinks into pores, the overall luminosity makes your complexion appear improved. Initially, I was unimpressed with the pore coverage, but after application, the mirror revealed a healthy, dewy complexion! Amazingly, as time passes, my natural oils blend with the cushion's formula, creating a beautifully dewy finish that helps conceal pores through light reflection. ✔️Strongly recommend applying small amounts with gentle tapping motions. Quantity control is key with this cushion! Given its affordability, it's worth trying. For all but oily skin types, I suggest applying over a hydrating base. After some time, oil slightly collects in the nose creases, and there's minor fading around the nose due to mask-wearing. Overall, mask transfer is minimal (when using a setting spray). - 11*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 25, 2022
My skin is very dry and sensitive, and I've been dealing with redness around my eyes similar to atopic dermatitis from wearing masks. When choosing a cushion foundation, I look for one that's moisturizing, covers redness, and doesn't contain stearic acid (cushions with this ingredient always give me blemishes). Before application, I moisturize thoroughly. Perhaps because of this, I didn't feel any dryness even as time passed. There was no flaking around my chin or nose either. As we're entering the dry autumn season, proper hydration before applying cushion foundation is a must! After 7 hours, I touched up my makeup once, and it still looked good without any pilling. The only issue was some slight rubbing off on my cheeks due to my mask, but I carefully removed the small clumps of foundation and reapplied. It blended seamlessly! I'm happy to report that using this product didn't cause any breakouts or worsen my redness. I originally wanted a different shade with more beige tones for my redness, but as someone with very dry skin, I had to give up on matte cushions. I wish they made a beige-tinted glowy cushion... Because of this, it didn't cover the redness around my eyes as much as I'd hoped. Please make a beige glowy cushion!!! This cushion doesn't have heavy coverage, so apply it gradually in layers to conceal imperfections. While it's recommended for dry skin, don't forget to establish a solid skincare routine. Here's my routine for hydration: - Toner (with 2 drops of panthenol ampoule added) - Emulsion (with 2-3 drops of hyaluronic acid ampoule) - Eye cream - Moisturizer (with 2 drops of ceramide ampoule) I add ampoules to boost hydration. When my skin feels dry and itchy, I apply Gahee Balm for relief.
