The name just said 'cream', so I wondered, 'Did I accidentally order a regular cream?' I've never encountered a mud cream before. I hurriedly checked the order site, and thankfully, it was indeed the mud pack I intended to buy. It's truly the epitome of creaminess. Being a cream type, I applied it more thinly than usual face masks, and it dried quickly. Unlike typical mud packs that crack as they dry, this one sets like a rich moisturizer - firm but not brittle. There's no cooling effect; it actually feels warm on the skin. There's a slight tingling sensation too. After washing it off, I noticed some sebum had surfaced in oily areas. Overall, it felt less like a traditional mud pack and more similar to using a sebum-softening nose pack.
ConsWhile I can usually tolerate some sensation when managing oily skin, the warm and tingling feeling, despite its seemingly gentle nature, wasn't to my liking.

Yet, my face doesn't feel tight at all. Although I've only used it a few times so far, my skin feels soft after application. This offer is valid until March 4, 2025.
ConsI got a great deal with the discount and bought it at a reasonable price. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase!

Plus, it's great at absorbing excess sebum!
ConsWhile there's nothing particularly disappointing about it, there's also nothing that makes this product stand out as special.

With no granular ingredients, it minimizes the risk of irritation from massage. It dissolves well even in lukewarm water and rinses off cleanly. After cleansing, there's less redness and deep dryness, and the skin feels noticeably more refined.
ConsWhile there's no burning sensation or tightness as it dries, the drying time isn't significantly slower than average.
TipTo minimize irritation for severe atopic dry skin, mix it with a cleansing milk or gel that doesn't contain chemical exfoliants, and use as a mask once every 1-2 weeks.

It applies thinly like a cream. So far, I haven't experienced any irritation.
ConsBecause it applies so thinly, you end up using quite a bit of product. I'm not sure if it's actually effective for pores - I'll need to use it longer to tell!

It spreads thinly and evenly, so it doesn't feel heavy at all when applying. - Of course, it absorbs really well! Moisturizing power [Seems to lock in hydration!]: - Even while the mask is on, and especially after rinsing it off with lukewarm water, it feels like the skin's moisture is trapped and retained! - No deep dryness at all after washing it off! I discovered this product as a gratis item from Olive Young, and after testing it, I found it so good that I ended up buying it with my own money! It's definitely worth the price.
ConsApplies thinly: - While this can be an advantage, it also acts as a disadvantage. Because it applies thinly, the product gets used up quickly.
TipPro tip: - Using a mask brush or similar tool is more convenient than applying with your hands. It's less messy, and you can use less product compared to applying with your fingers!

There's a subtle fragrance - perhaps a delicate floral scent? It spreads thinly like a cream, so when cleansing, you don't need to scrub vigorously; it rinses off easily. Without any granules, it's non-irritating, making me consider repurchasing. As the mask dries, it seems to slightly tighten the pores. For dead skin cell removal or noticeable changes, I'll need to use it a bit longer to tell.
ConsThe quantity is a bit on the smaller side. It would be great if they could increase the amount.

Unlike famous S* mud packs that can feel harsh due to their granules, the Illso Mud Cream feels more like a cream, as the name suggests! I could apply it thinly, which made it easy to rinse off.
ConsAs someone who loves that squeaky-clean feeling, I didn't enjoy the film-like sensation it left after use. I had to follow up with a cleansing foam to finish. It seems insufficient for managing pores or blackheads. The description 'low irritation, low effectiveness' fits perfectly.

I often use mud masks for my oily, acne-prone skin to remove excess sebum and smooth out my skin texture. Unlike other masks that feel tight and require thick application, consuming a lot of product, this one is different. It doesn't feel tight on the skin and stays moist until you wash it off. I think it might work well for dry skin too. Unlike other mud masks, it's hydrating and gentle while still providing the benefits of a mud mask.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad to mention. It doesn't cause any blemishes and feels great to use.
TipUse a silicone brush to apply it. If you apply it with your hands, a lot of product sticks to them, and it would be a waste to just wipe it off.

It applies thinly, making it difficult to apply thickly with hands. Using a spatula allows for a slightly thicker application. - Scent: A subtle gum-like fragrance! Among masks, this one probably has the most pleasant scent. - Effects: Although I haven't used it long enough to see if it's effective on blackheads or whiteheads, the gentle formula left my skin feeling not dry after washing. With consistent use, it seems like it could be effective for managing dead skin cells! (I'll add more after using it longer) - The ingredients are mild and not harmful, so it seems suitable for those with super sensitive skin.
ConsThe thin application means you need to use a lot for each application, so it's not very cost-effective. If they could change the formula to allow for a thicker application or increase the volume, I'd be willing to purchase it again!
TipI found it applies best after washing your face and using toner to prep your skin, especially when your skin feels a bit dry. If your skin is too moist, it becomes slippery and harder to apply.
