  After trying the Ilso Clean Mud Cream Pack, I noticed my skin felt smoother and clearer overall. As someone with dry skin, I was impressed by how well it maintained hydration, making for a very pleasant experience.

  Cons

  There were times when the pack felt a bit drying, especially as it tightened while drying on my skin. However, this seems to be a typical characteristic of mud packs. I found that applying a generous amount of moisturizer after cleansing actually allowed for deeper absorption into my exfoliated skin. This resulted in smoother skin and better makeup application the following day.

  It would be great if it could help control excess sebum production, especially during the hot summer months when my combination dehydrated skin tends to get oily.

  Purchase motivation: It's a cream-type mask (As someone with dry skin, I absolutely hate drying masks) Wanted help with evening out skin texture. Though it might be a bit early to judge after only two uses, I'll jot down a few thoughts.

  Cons

  I was quite surprised as I expected it to stay moisturizing until wash-off since it's a cream type. Seems I misunderstood from the start when purchasing. I misinterpreted 'cream type' as a non-drying cream. (I completely misunderstood due to previous experience with cream-based masks) I applied it thinking I'd leave it on for 15 minutes. After 5 minutes, it started drying. Felt tightening, and when I looked in the mirror, it was already completely dry. Thinking I might not have used enough, I applied more generously the second time. Again, after 5 minutes it started tightening and drying. Those with dry skin should probably apply plenty of toner beforehand.

  Tip

  The instructions suggest mixing it 50:50 with cleanser. I plan to use it mixed as a cleansing product.

  It seems to have a great calming effect even after just one use! I'm definitely considering repurchasing.

  There's not really anything bad, except maybe that it dries a bit quickly..? Other than that, I can't think of any downsides.
