I don't usually wear makeup, just a brightening moisturizer with SPF. This product, being a tone-up 'emulsion,' is definitely thinner and absorbs better than typical brightening moisturizers. Since I applied it with a puff, I found the adherence and lasting power to be quite good. There was minimal pilling and almost no transfer onto my mask.
ConsWhen applied by hand, it barely felt like it was adhering to my skin. Plus, it's extremely vulnerable to water, which might be quite inconvenient for men to use. Also, while it looks bright right after application, it seems to dull a bit over time. I've never experienced darkening with brightening moisturizers before...
TipIf you apply it thinly with a puff instead of your hands, it's not bad for daily use.

The coverage is also impressive.
ConsWhile it may vary from person to person, in my case with oily skin, I noticed it left a slightly white cast right after application and for some time afterward.
TipI recommend this for men who want natural skin brightening but find full-on makeup like foundation too intimidating.

Pros: Many men are reluctant to wear makeup and often skip even sunscreen. This product is perfect for such men. Texture: It's more of a cream than an emulsion, not quite a moisturizer but with a BB cream feel. It's quite rich. Application: It applies smoothly and easily. The brightening effect is natural and noticeable, but make sure to blend it well. It feels pleasantly hydrating. If you find foundation, BB cream, or sunscreen overwhelming, this product might be just right for you.
ConsTo be honest, it's not quite an emulsion, more like a BB cream. While it does have sun protection, you'd need to apply a generous amount to get proper coverage. Using as much as you would with regular sunscreen makes you look too pale and creates a white cast. It's best to consider the sunscreen and brightening moisturizer aspects separately. Still, if you don't want to use multiple products, this one is decent and convenient. I'll probably use it when I want a quick, easy look.
TipSince it has sun protection, you'll need to pay extra attention to cleansing. I'd recommend double cleansing with foam cleanser twice, or using a cleansing milk or water for your first cleanse to ensure all residue is removed thoroughly.

The texture is similar to a primer or makeup base, and a small amount spreads very thinly over the entire face. When you first squeeze it out, you get a creamy product with a tone between pink and peach, which gives you an 'Oh, that's interesting' feeling. It seems promising for naturally concealing skin imperfections while providing a slight brightening effect.
ConsI applied for this thinking it was a men's product, and it's even categorized as men's base makeup on Hwahae. However, how many men can actually use this tone? I think this product would only suit men with a skin tone equivalent to women's #21. For others, applying this product goes beyond brightening - it makes your face look pale. If you have reddish skin, it might turn your complexion a light purple... Of course, I didn't apply as much as you would with sunblock. This product is meant to be a brightening moisturizer, not a sunscreen - it should even out and beautify your skin tone. But due to the extreme white cast and pink tone, I think this product will be very limiting in terms of suitable skin types.
TipThis might work for those with very fair, pink-toned skin if applied sparingly.

I was also quite impressed with how well it absorbs.
ConsMy complexion is on the darker side. When I applied this emulsion, it looked quite off. I had others with darker skin tones try it, and it looked awkward on them too. Also, I have sensitive combination skin, and this emulsion caused blemishes on my forehead.
TipI think those with warm or fair skin tones will really enjoy using this product!

It applies smoothly and a small amount is sufficient to cover the entire face. This is likely to be a hit with men who prefer all-in-one solutions. What some might see as a drawback could actually be a plus - it washes off easily with water, making it ideal for men who only cleanse with water daily.
ConsWhile this emulsion combines tone-up and various other functions, like most all-in-one products, it's not perfect. It has the advantage of tackling both emulsion and tone-up in one go, but it's neither a full emulsion nor a complete tone-up product. The Inner Glow effect might cause your face to appear shiny in photos. For those with dry skin like mine, it may not adhere well and can look patchy.
TipRather than using it as a standalone all-in-one product, I recommend applying it after a basic toner or lightweight product for best results.

The sun protection seems effective, and I always just quickly apply this brightening moisturizer when I'm in a rush to go exercise. It has a masculine scent. Applying it thinly could work well as a makeup base too! Just one pump is enough to evenly cover the entire face.
ConsFor a brightening moisturizer, the hydration and adherence to skin were quite disappointing. If men plan to use this for makeup, they should ensure they have a solid skincare routine as a foundation first.

ConsIt doesn't seem to suit oily skin types well. There's some pilling and it feels a bit slippery. It might be okay for those with dry skin.
TipYou should probably do a thorough skincare routine before applying this product.

It's hygienic since you pump it out instead of squeezing it. To use, apply your skincare first, then pump once onto the back of your hand. Dot it evenly across your face, then spread it out in a thin layer. The brightening effect feels natural.
ConsUnlike sunscreen that you squeeze out, this is a brightening moisturizer that you pump once and spread thinly. It can't replace sunscreen for UV protection, so you should apply it after your sunscreen. It gets oilier than expected, so you might want to use powder or blotting paper. The adherence was a bit disappointing as it didn't completely meld with the skin.
TipI wouldn't recommend this to those looking for a sunscreen. However, if you want a light brightening effect with some UV protection, it might be worth trying.

The texture is very thick and dense. Although it's a hybrid sunscreen, it feels closer to a mineral one. In terms of texture, it's most similar to the mineral sunscreen from Dr. Alx that I've used. The scent is just a typical cosmetic fragrance, not particularly noticeable. Pump: I actually like that it comes in a pump bottle rather than a squeeze tube. It's convenient to dispense one or two pumps and apply it in small amounts. Adherence: It barely transfers onto masks at all.
ConsFirst off, I'm curious about this product's identity. Is it a BB cream? CC cream? Foundation? I had high hopes since it's a hybrid sunscreen, thinking it would be fine if applied in the right amount. But after two pumps, I realized... if you apply this much, your face will tan and dark spots will appear. You'll probably need makeup tools for even application. It tends to pill and separate. It's quite challenging to apply evenly with just your hands. As for brightening... I witnessed the miraculous transformation of my complexion becoming darker than my natural skin tone. I thought it washed off easily with water right after application, so I assumed it would be easy to remove. I only applied it on my neck to match my face, but the next morning, even after showering at the pool, swimming, and showering again twice, some product still came off when I wiped my neck with toner. Once it sets after some time, an oil-based cleanser seems necessary for removal. I'm used to using cleansing oil, but for most men who only use soap or foam cleansers, I wonder if this would come off completely?
TipFor those times when you really can't be bothered to apply multiple products, but still don't want to go out bare-faced. For example, on your date night or when heading to the club, grab a suitable sponge (ask for a recommendation from an Olive Young staff), apply one pump thinly, and you're good to go. Once it sets, it becomes waterproof and lasts for about 1.5 days, so give it a try with confidence. It seems like it would hold up well even for those with oily, acne-prone skin who sweat a lot.
