It has a slightly matte finish but doesn't dry out or tighten the skin, which is great. As I'm finishing up the bottle, I've noticed it leaves a slight white cast that actually helps brighten my complexion. With SPF50, it offers high protection, so I'm diligently applying it every day.
ConsThe texture is somewhat matte and thick, so if you prefer a smoother feel, this sunscreen might not be for you. (If you have dry skin, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.) Being a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a white cast. There's no strong scent, but it's not completely fragrance-free, so it might be hit or miss for some. (It's not overpowering, just a slight chemical smell.)
TipIf you're looking for a sunscreen with a slight brightening effect due to the white cast, this one's perfect as a makeup base. The initial white cast fades over time. It has a matte texture that's ideal for oily skin, absorbing well and leaving a somewhat powdery finish. I use it as a base and it works great. Remember these three things: good for oily skin, has a white cast, and it's a mineral sunscreen. Oh, and it's budget-friendly too!

The strong white cast makes it decent for brightening bare skin. It's usable in summer without causing dryness.
ConsDidn't notice in summer, but using it in fall and winter caused dryness. Slight eye irritation, not severe but noticeable. When wearing makeup, it makes your face too white, looking like a floating head.

There's no dryness, and I love that it doesn't cause any irritation or eye stinging! I plan to keep using this as my go-to product!
ConsI don't have any complaints about how it feels on the skin. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it would be even better without any fragrance!
TipI pat it gently into my skin to help it absorb well.

I've used it both as a base and on its own when going out. It doesn't dry out easily and doesn't break down much throughout the day. I usually have oily skin, but this sunscreen keeps me matte without feeling greasy. It even helped control my excess oil and had a slight brightening effect, making it perfect for a light application.
ConsHonestly, I don't have any complaints about this sunscreen. It's great for both sun protection and as a base. The only minor issue is that it can pill slightly if not applied correctly. The price point is reasonable too. I even used it on my arms in a pinch and was pleasantly surprised by the brightening effect. There was some pilling when I sweat, though!
TipI made sure to hydrate my skin well before applying to prevent any pilling!

I have dry, thin skin that's sensitive to physical and chemical irritants, with a complexion between 17-21 shades. Since I only commute on weekdays, I've been using mineral sunscreens with brightening effects for years, without applying any foundation or cushion. Before trying this product, I was using Innisfree's No Sebum Tone-Up Sunscreen. Even with a proper skincare routine, it felt a bit dry from the start, so I mixed it with a rich cream. What I absolutely love about this product is that it doesn't feel dry after application. Instead, it leaves my skin with just the right balance of oil and moisture. I'm now only using the Innisfree sunscreen on my neck! The photo shows the product applied to only the right half of the back of my hand!
ConsI find myself using quite a lot of product each time! I have a feeling I'll go through it quickly.
TipIt's fantastic that I can just apply this and head out with a nicely evened skin tone. I think it would work well to use foundation on the face and this sunscreen on the neck to match the color seamlessly!

Usually, I just use a toner and moisturizer combo to keep my skin from getting too dry. Here's what I loved: ✅ Excellent absorption despite being a powdery product! Many mineral sunscreens can be stiff and hard to apply, but this one's texture really impressed me. It was perfect for quick morning application. ✅ There's a white cast, but it looks natural. Mineral sunscreens inevitably have some white cast, but this one doesn't look unnatural at all once it's fully applied! It gives a nice, natural brightening effect. ✅ No off-putting scent ✅ It's a solid, reliable product! By 'reliable', I mean it's well-rounded and easy to reach for. It's genuinely a good product.
Cons✅ Since it's a powdery product, when I applied it under my current matte cushion, my makeup tended to pill. We'll have to see if this improves when it gets more humid in summer. It didn't pill with a dewy cushion though.
TipAs long as you're careful when applying it under a matte cushion, this product is easy to use.

Many sunscreens leave a white cast, but with this product, it's almost non-existent once absorbed! Plus, it has great absorption - it applies smoothly whether you use your hands or a puff.
ConsDespite being called 'Cotton', it didn't quite give me that powdery soft feeling I expected! The finish is more dewy than powdery, so if you're looking for a completely matte skin appearance, you'll definitely need to follow up with powder.

I chose it because it's a mineral sunscreen that seems perfect for summer. I was worried it might be too drying since it contains sebum powder to control oil and sebum, but that wasn't the case at all. There's even a test showing it stays put even when you sweat, so all skin types, especially oily, take note! [Application💛] I usually only use hybrid sunscreens, and this definitely wasn't like organic or hybrid formulas. Despite being mineral-based, it spread easily! If you're not used to mineral sunscreens, you might find it a bit thick. It feels like spreading a concentrated hybrid sunscreen - the texture is like fluffy whipped cream.🍦 [Brightening Effect💛] Initially, there was some white cast typical of mineral sunscreens. But after spreading, it became almost unnoticeable. Great for daily use! [Absorption💛] It felt slightly sticky until it settled, but after about a minute, it felt like I'd applied sunscreen and then dusted on some powder. 💆🏻♀️ [Scent💛] It has a pleasant, familiar scent! A fresh emulsion aroma🌿 mixed with a powdery note. [Hydration💛] I applied it over my usual finishing cream that's matte but moisturized. Despite containing powder, the sunscreen glided on smoothly. As you can see in the photo, there's a slight glow, right? Right after application, it felt moisturized on the surface but dry underneath, but after a minute it achieved a nice matte but moisturized finish. You can maintain your cream's glow even after it sets! 👍🏻 [Longevity💛] I wore it under a mask from 8 AM to 6 PM, including a 40-minute intense workout during PE class where I was drenched in sweat. When I looked in the mirror, my sweat was clear - amazing!🙊 Apart from the workout, I don't sweat much on my face, so it stayed put. I think if you apply it on your body, you won't need to reapply! Thanks to its incredible staying power, I'm 90% sure I'll repurchase!!
Cons[Room for Improvement😥] With cream formulas like this, it seems to take a while to set on areas with more heat, like the face. It wasn't completely powdery, but it wasn't stuffy on my face either. It finished with a slightly powdery and very lightly tacky feel. I don't think it will transfer much to masks. The scent is strong, but you get used to it after wearing a mask for a few minutes.
Tip[Pro Tips🍯] It sets quickly, so apply your makeup soon after it's absorbed! If you're looking for a mineral sunscreen with good application and staying power, this is the one! Since it's a mineral sunscreen, those used to hybrid or organic formulas might need to use more. It's thicker due to being mineral-based and containing powder.🍦 It sets quickly and doesn't leave much excess on your hands. If you usually use one and a half pumps, try using two! For those with dry or normal skin, apply over a moisturizing cream for a dewy finish on the outside and moisturized inside👍🏻

For a mineral sunscreen, it's less drying and even provides a subtle glow while naturally evening out the skin tone. It gives the impression of naturally good skin. The texture is similar to the Dear Dahlia Sun-Fluid Essence. While I wouldn't call it lightweight, it doesn't feel sticky or suffocating. I'd recommend this to those who, like me, dislike a matte finish and prefer a natural, subtle Inner Glow. I've been using it daily since it arrived, and it seems to work well under foundation too. I was concerned about the fragrance, but it's not overwhelming or headache-inducing - just a subtle scent that doesn't bother me.
ConsIf I had to point out one drawback, it's that the glow doesn't last long. As time passes, it seems to meld into the skin and disappear. It's disappointing that as my skin becomes drier, it feels like the sunscreen is fading away too.
TipDon't be misled by the 'Cotton' in the name - if you're expecting a completely matte finish, you might be disappointed. It's closer to a brightening moisturizer with sunscreen that gives a natural glow.

It's truly a cotton-like sunscreen! After applying, you can feel your skin become soft and velvety, just like touching cotton. 2. I tend to have oily T-zone, but this sunscreen produces less oil compared to the one I used before. (I previously used Doc*or for oily skin) 3. The sunscreen is white, so it slightly brightens your complexion. 4. While it leaves the skin feeling powdery, it's not overly drying. I notice fewer dead skin cells compared to my previous sunscreen.
Cons1. It just whitens the skin a bit, but there's hardly any coverage. If they could add a bit of foundation color to make it suitable for a foundation-free look, I'd really go out with just this sunscreen and a touch of powder on my T-zone! That's how much I liked it from the day after I first tried it. 2. ...There's nothing else. I just wish it had a little more coverage.
TipIf you apply too many skincare products underneath, it might pill. Make sure to let your skincare absorb fully before applying this sunscreen for a smooth, powdery finish.
