Usually, I just use a toner and moisturizer combo to keep my skin from getting too dry. Here's what I loved: ✅ Excellent absorption despite being a powdery product! Many mineral sunscreens can be stiff and hard to apply, but this one's texture really impressed me. It was perfect for quick morning application. ✅ There's a white cast, but it looks natural. Mineral sunscreens inevitably have some white cast, but this one doesn't look unnatural at all once it's fully applied! It gives a nice, natural brightening effect. ✅ No off-putting scent ✅ It's a solid, reliable product! By 'reliable', I mean it's well-rounded and easy to reach for. It's genuinely a good product.
Cons✅ Since it's a powdery product, when I applied it under my current matte cushion, my makeup tended to pill. We'll have to see if this improves when it gets more humid in summer. It didn't pill with a dewy cushion though.
TipAs long as you're careful when applying it under a matte cushion, this product is easy to use.

Let me give you the lowdown! First off, my skin type is acne-prone and turns into an oil slick by morning. After 6 hours, my blotting paper gets soaked with oil - just to give you an idea. Texture: It's like a regular sunscreen cream - not too thick or runny, just the perfect consistency! Application: Glides on smoothly without any tugging. I've used tone-up mineral sunscreens before that emphasized dead skin cells, but this one doesn't do that at all. Scent: I'm a bit sensitive to cosmetic smells, but this one didn't bother me much. Brightening effect: It evens out the skin tone naturally. If you pile it on, it might look a bit obvious, but that's not really a drawback. Oil control: It feels moisturizing when applied (though that could be because I use hydrating skincare). However, it dries down completely over time. Definitely not for dry skin, but for us oily folks, it's a miracle! Even after hours, I barely produce any oil. It seems to have slightly reduced my blemishes caused by excess oil, though I can't say it's reduced acne overall. Even after 6 hours, I barely see any oil. Only after that, I might need to use a blotting paper once. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. If I don't find anything better, this might be my go-to for summer!
ConsSince I have combination skin, some areas are super oily while others are less so. However, those less oily parts get extremely dry - you can literally see the skin cracking. You'll definitely need to add extra hydration. On that note, any recommendations for a good summer face mist?

Many sunscreens leave a white cast, but with this product, it's almost non-existent once absorbed! Plus, it has great absorption - it applies smoothly whether you use your hands or a puff.
ConsDespite being called 'Cotton', it didn't quite give me that powdery soft feeling I expected! The finish is more dewy than powdery, so if you're looking for a completely matte skin appearance, you'll definitely need to follow up with powder.

Absorbs well Despite having 'cotton' in its name, I thought it would be stiff, but it's surprisingly smooth. It applies more gently than Innisfree's No Sebum powder. It leaves a powdery finish, which is great for oily skin! 2. Brightening effect It whitens the skin just enough to give that 'no-makeup' look. Lately, I've been applying it every day before work, and my team members have been complimenting my skin, saying it looks good even without makeup. It's been a real confidence booster! 3. Long-lasting The brightening effect lasts from morning until evening when I leave work. It also allows just the right amount of natural oils to come through, so when I look in the mirror after a while, my skin appears healthy.
Cons1. Pilling It tends to pill slightly around the nose and under the eyes, but it's manageable if applied carefully! 2. Dryness If you apply it without moisturizer and just use it as a sunscreen, it can be drying!
TipIt's great to use before applying a dewy cushion foundation as it helps control excess oil!

Application: Unlike other mild products that feel dry when applied, this one goes on so moisturizing that you might mistake it for an aqua cream. After it sets, it becomes wonderfully matte, making it perfect for summer use. I can't stress enough how it's not stiff, but genuinely matte - a true powder-like finish. 2. Scent: I really dislike strong fragrances, especially in high PA sunscreens which can smell awful. This one has a subtle, pleasant scent that's quite tolerable. However, if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to skip this. 3. Brightening effect: When applied in the right amount, it naturally brightens your complexion. 4. Eye irritation: This is perhaps the most crucial point. I've tried many famous sunscreens, but the eye irritation always stressed me out. This one doesn't cause any, which is why I find myself using it more often. 5. Initially, I planned to use it as a body sunscreen, but this little champ has earned its place as a face sunscreen too!
ConsIf I really had to pick something, those with dry skin might experience some pilling.
TipThe initial aqua-like moistness might mix with your natural oils over time, potentially making your skin look a bit richer. But it's not an excessive oiliness - more like a 'Wow, why does their skin look so good?' effect.

However, it glides on smoothly and, most importantly, doesn't pill! The absorption is great. - White cast: It provides a moderate brightening effect? The white cast is typical of most sunscreens, so I find it easy to apply without any issues. - Longevity: While it's generally recommended to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, it's not always practical for those of us who wear makeup. That said, I find this sunscreen lasts well throughout my workday. It doesn't easily rub off or disappear. It also doesn't leave much residue around the nose area. As someone who's adamant about always wearing sunscreen and quite particular about it, I've tried many. If this continues to work well until I finish the bottle, I'll likely repurchase it! I think this product would work well even for those sensitive to fragrances, as it's almost scentless.
Cons- There's not much I dislike about this product, but if I had to mention one thing, it would be nice if the white cast adjusted to match skin tone better. There's a slight feeling that it doesn't fully blend in, which is a bit disappointing. But since it's not marketed as a tone-up sunscreen, I guess that's to be expected. Considering this, I still think it's a decent product that I'll continue to use!
