It was truly excellent for removing yellow tones after bleaching my hair three times! I used it every 2-3 days, and it effectively neutralized the brassiness, helping me maintain a beautiful color throughout the bleaching process. Gloves are a must... As with all color-correcting shampoos, you absolutely need to wear latex gloves. If you use your bare hands, your nails will turn blue.......... Also, it's fine if you rinse it out quickly, but if you leave it on for a few minutes, your hair becomes quite stiff, so a deep conditioner is essential. - ph******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 25, 2022
After bleaching my hair, I've always used purple shampoo, but I wasn't sure if it was really effective. However, people keep asking if I've just bleached or dyed my hair, so I guess it's working! The fragrance is lovely too (personal preference). Also, I'm not sure if it's because I use a treatment as well, but my hair doesn't feel damaged. It doesn't have that straw-like, stiff texture (though this might vary from person to person). My scalp feels a bit itchy lately, so I wonder if it's causing some irritation. Like with any purple shampoo, it stains the spaces between my fingernails, cuticles, and so on with a purple tint. It's quite amusing! - py*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2022
After using, as long as you carefully brush out any tangles, there was no damage to the hair itself (no need for additional treatment) There was no color-correcting effect... It might vary depending on the bleaching condition, but it doesn't work on yellowish or orange bleached hair. I heard directly from a hairstylist that they recommend L'Oreal silver color-correcting shampoo over this one.
