As a 40-year-old with very dry skin, I can say that this product has a rich and thick feel to it. The oriental fragrance is also quite strong, and the texture feels substantial. Even though I have a combination skin type, during the summer, just using the essence alone didn't make my skin feel dry. Appropriate Nourishment Compared to the moisturizers and ampoules I've been using, this one feels very nourishing the moment I apply it. That's why my skin feels plump and glowing afterwards haha The nourishment isn't overwhelming, so it doesn't feel burdensome when I apply it. 3. Moisturizing These days, the weather is getting hotter, but just applying this product as a toner is enough to keep my skin moist and not dry. After it absorbs into my skin, I can feel the deep hydration seeping in. There's no feeling of just having an oily surface with a dry interior. 4. Irritation My skin didn't experience any irritation!! I was a bit worried since the ingredients aren't the best and there are a lot of them, but I didn't feel any irritation at all. The essence has a slightly thicker, more viscous texture, not a runny type. I was worried it might feel sticky or heavy, but it absorbs quickly and leaves a radiant glow on the skin. Even though my skin is quite dry, I can skip my other skincare products and just use this essence, and my skin stays hydrated until morning. My husband, who has problematic skin that's prone to breakouts, has also been using it without any issues. In fact, both of our skin textures have improved dramatically - it's become so smooth and supple. (I've kept the rest of my skincare routine the same, just replaced the essence.) The photo on the left shows my hand without the essence, and the right side is after applying it. My very dry, dull skin looks so much more luminous when I use the essence.
