  The size is surprisingly large, which makes it easy to apply on the neck with just a quick swipe. Recently, the weather has become extremely hot, causing heat rash on my neck that stung when wet. However, the Atopalm Soothing Powder was gentle enough not to cause any discomfort. The powder particles are incredibly fine, allowing for a smooth and even application with just a light touch. Despite its name suggesting a cooling effect, it doesn't actually feel cool on the skin. Instead, its ultra-fine texture effectively absorbs excess moisture without drying out the skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft and comfortable, not dry at all. This is apparently due to the plant-based corn starch it contains, which doesn't interfere with the skin's natural breathing process. It's talc-free and doesn't contain 10 harmful ingredients. It has also passed dermatological irritation tests. The inclusion of an extra sponge makes it more hygienic to use.

  First off, the effectiveness is amazing! I previously used emulsion or cream-type products like Des* because I heard baby powders weren't good. But no matter how diligently I applied them, there was no improvement in the folded areas of the baby's body, especially the groin and bottom. My mom suggested looking for a powder-type product like in the old days, which led me to discover Atopalm Soothing Powder. Being in a compact form, it doesn't have the excess powder issue like regular powders, so it likely won't negatively affect the baby's respiratory system. Unlike cream types, the powder instantly makes the skin feel soft and smooth, and there's no friction in the folded areas, which is great. Particularly, the redness in the diaper area and sensitive parts improved quickly. The compact type makes it quick to apply - just pat it on and you're done. It's also convenient to carry, making it easy to apply during diaper changes when you're out. (The puff is nicely sized too!) It seems like an essential item from newborn to potty training, regardless of the season! I absolutely recommend it to expectant mothers. I think it would also be great for managing heat rash on children in the summer, even after they're out of diapers.

Especially after a shower, I'd apply it all over, and before bed, I'd pat it on areas where skin folds. The compressed powder format was great, with no excess flying around. As an adult, I remember using loose powder in metal tins, sometimes spilling half and creating a mess when opening.   Like all compact products, it tends to break when you've used more than half. This one seems to break more easily on impact, perhaps due to its fine particles. Since children are the primary users and often drop or throw things, it requires extra care. Personally, I think refills would be a great addition to this product.

  Tip

  As I mentioned in the positives, applying it all over after a shower and again on skin folds before bed not only feels great but also seems to reduce chafing even when sweating.
