True to its name as a sun serum, it's incredibly hydrating and absorbs beautifully. After applying my skincare, this layers on top seamlessly without pilling. It blends well with other products, applies thinly and evenly, and absorbs quickly into the skin. As someone who's been on a never-ending search for the perfect sunscreen, I think I might have finally found my holy grail!
ConsThere's not much to complain about so far. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it would be even better if it provided a bit of brightening or evened out the skin tone slightly.
TipAfter applying the sun serum, I like to mix it with a brightening moisturizer and apply another layer. This gives a nice glow and slightly evens out my complexion, so I can skip foundation for a basic, natural look.

It gives such a beautiful glow and is incredibly hydrating, making it perfect for the winter months right now. Oh, and the packaging is just adorable!
ConsThe downside is that it doesn't even out the complexion when applied on its own.
TipWhen used as a base, it makes your face radiant and keeps it moisturized.

ConsSince there's no white cast, you probably shouldn't expect it to even out your complexion.

It's lightweight and gives the impression of filling in pores. (Now that masks are off, I'm excited to do makeup again and this feels like an unexpected holy grail discovery) * Mild on the skin As someone with seborrheic sensitive skin who avoids typical organic sunscreens and essential oils, I experienced no irritation, just as Hwahae's analysis suggested. Given the lack of noticeable fragrance, it seems the eucalyptus is used purely for functional purposes. I felt no stinging around the eyes, and it's easy to cleanse off, so there's no burden or fatigue on the skin. * Smart packaging The opening is very narrow with a good grip. No issues with product gushing out, getting messy, or needing to rinse your hands due to stickiness. Just open the cap and apply directly to your face. The compact size makes it perfect to pop in your bag. Unlike heavy glass bottles or tubes that can spill or not close properly, this product seems unlikely to cause such mishaps. The design is also pretty. I'm satisfied.
Cons* No tone-up correction While it definitely smooths texture, it doesn't correct skin tone. It has a creamy, matte light beige color, but once applied, it feels transparent with no visible effect. If you prioritize tone-up or want a brightening effect, you might be disappointed. * Spicy price point The price feels a bit high for daily, generous application. The small amount makes you hesitate to apply liberally. * 1% lacking in packaging (a double-edged sword) For clumsy people like me, there's a risk of losing the cap, and you can't check how much product is left. Also, its oval shape means it can't stand upright nicely and always lies on its side, which is slightly disappointing.
Tip* Overall review A sensational, high-end design with a lightweight and gentle organic sunscreen that lets your skin breathe. A must-have for flawless makeup. * Recommended for those who: - Dislike the slippery, glossy finish of organic sunscreens. - Have dry skin and worry about the dryness and cleansing irritation from mineral sunscreens.

Its egg-like shape is small and convenient to carry. When using it, it feels like a regular serum if it didn't have UV protection. It's thinner than an essence and fragrance-free. It absorbs well and doesn't feel heavy like typical sunscreens. I liked that it doesn't have the usual sunscreen feel, being colorless and odorless. My skin is super sensitive, but there were no incompatible ingredients, and it's all-green, so I used it confidently. There was a slight allergic-like reaction when first applied, but it quickly subsided. Thanks to Hwahae, it's easy to check cosmetic ingredients now, and I've been using fragrance-free products. This has helped control the allergies I've struggled with since my early 20s. Although I haven't used it consistently every day, it's been nice to use without worry. While I'm not sure about repurchasing until I use it more, it seems like a good product.
ConsBeing colorless, it doesn't provide any complexion-correcting effects, so I'm not sure how it would work for those with severe blemishes.
TipI don't usually wear makeup, but when I want to look a bit more put-together, I apply this sun serum and then lightly layer a regular brightening moisturizer on top. For quick trips nearby, I just apply this alone. I'm planning to use it more diligently in the future!

As someone with oily and sensitive skin, I appreciated how smoothly this sun serum applied. Being a vegan product with good ingredients, I was eager to try it as part of the Hwahae Testers program. Happily, I didn't experience any blemishes during use, which was a relief.
ConsCons: As someone who typically only wears sunscreen, I've been used to brightening moisturizers. This product doesn't seem to have any tone-evening effects. While it does leave the skin looking hydrated, it's disappointing if you're looking for complexion improvement. Also, unlike my previous sunscreen, this one left a noticeable white residue on my face after wearing a mask for a few hours, which was quite surprising.
TipTip: It's not groundbreaking, but I found it works better to apply two thin layers rather than one thick layer from the start.

I have combination dehydrated skin, with my cheeks being particularly dry. As a result, I tend to get blemishes quickly with matte products or those lacking hydration. However, this product, being in serum form, felt very moisturizing. 2. It applies smoothly, spreading thinly and evenly. It feels like applying a hydrating cream, so there's no heavy or suffocating sensation! 3. It's fragrance-free, making it suitable for anyone to use comfortably. 4. Having sensitive skin, I usually opt for products with gentle or high-quality ingredients. After using this sunscreen for a week, I didn't experience any blemishes. 5. Its round, compact size fits perfectly in your hand, making it convenient to carry in your bag. The lid closes securely, so there's no worry about it opening accidentally. 6. It absorbs quickly, leaving no sticky residue.
Cons1. Due to its round shape, it's harder to stand up compared to other products. I prefer to keep it at home and use it right away, so I found this aspect a bit inconvenient. 2. It's not a brightening moisturizer, so it doesn't provide any light coverage or evens skin tone. I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a tone-up effect. 3. Because it absorbs quickly, I felt some dryness after a while. (This is my personal experience as someone with combination dehydrated skin. It might be fine for those with oily skin.)
TipFor those with dry skin, I recommend applying a solid base skincare routine before using this! This sun serum is great for people with oily skin who want something light and simple.

This is its best feature. Unlike regular sunscreens, it's not stiff, so there's no pilling and obviously no white cast. - I don't like heavy formulas, and this applies smoothly like a serum. I rarely use thick sunscreens, but this Aqua Sun Serum is lightweight and absorbs well, making it easy to use. It's suitable for all skin types.
Cons- Some sunscreens have a color-correcting effect after a while on the skin, but this one becomes slightly oily and doesn't look much different from bare skin. In my case, there was almost no corrective effect. - When I carefully applied it around my eyes, a bit got in and caused a burning sensation. - The quantity seems a bit small, so it might run out quickly.

True to its name, it gives you that natural radiance. 3) Being a vegan product was a big plus for me, and I was touched by the thoughtful packaging and note that came with the delivery... I'm definitely repurchasing!
ConsAs the name 'Aqua' suggests, the hydrating formula might be a bit much for those with oily skin. It leaves a slight film-like feeling, so if you prefer the white cast of mineral sunscreens, this might not be for you! The natural glow means there's almost no color correction. Due to its formula, the staying power doesn't seem to last very long.
TipIn my opinion, it feels similar to the Espoir sunscreen when applied! I love this kind of subtle glow, so I'm very satisfied!
