It doesn't pill at all. There's hardly any scent, and it works well for my skin without causing any blemishes.

The coverage is light, so you'll need a concealer if you have many blemishes. I have some dark spots, and due to the sheer coverage, a concealer is necessary.

As a mom, I'd forgotten about makeup, but this primer brought me back! At an age where my complexion is dull and pores are a concern, this product is a true lifesaver. The Banila Co Prime Primer Tone Up is exactly what it says - a 'tone up' and 'primer' in one. When applied, it naturally brightens the skin while adhering smoothly without any patchiness. It covers pores subtly and prevents makeup from caking, which I absolutely love.

On days when your skin feels dry, try using a slightly richer sunscreen than usual before applying the primer. This can improve the overall adherence of your makeup.

I haven't used it long enough to find any drawbacks yet.

After applying sunscreen, I used a tone-up primer followed by Double Wear powder. The result was impressive - no caking and excellent adherence. I was also pleased with how it evened out my complexion.

While it absorbs well when applied with fingers, I prefer using a puff to apply it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't function as a primer at all... I apply a separate primer before using this as a base.

Wow, this is the best tone-up cream I've ever used.
I used to dislike and no longer trust tone-up creams. But after trying this product at my friend's place, I immediately bought it and even got it for my mom who doesn't wear foundation. Normally, when I apply a tone-up cream, my face feels uncomfortable - there's a tightening and drying sensation, and over time, my face gets very oily. Even just touching my face, the oil would transfer. But with this product, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it comes out quite generously, the application is so smooth. As long as my skincare is properly hydrating, it blends in seamlessly without any patchiness or cakiness, and at the same time, it evens out my skin tone perfectly. The skin expression is like a freshly cracked egg. It covers my pores completely, making it perfect for a bare-faced look. And when I apply foundation on top, my skin looks absolutely flawless. What's even better is that the foundation lasts so much longer. When I was removing my makeup after work, my skin just glided off, leaving my pores invisible and a nice, natural glow. I'm so happy with this product.

If you apply it after a moisturizing base, it should work well.

Personally, I think the best part is the color. Among the tone-up products I've tried, this is the most natural and pretty. The color is dark enough that I can mix a small amount with a foundation and still use it well!

The scent is like a nice shampoo, but while the scent itself is good, I prefer unscented products when applying them to my skin (it might feel nauseating when wearing a mask).
And since I have dry skin, I like a dewy and luminous base, but this has a slightly chalky finish. It has a very subtle glow, but I'm not sure how drying it will feel over time.

It's a natural-looking tone-up! The pink base doesn't look obvious at all when applied to the skin, and it gives a one-tone brightening effect. Personally, I used to really like the Espoir tone-up cushion, and this feels like the cream version of that!
There's not much emphasis on dry patches, and it feels well-adhered. I haven't used it outside yet, but I think the transfer onto masks will be minimal as well!
The primer product also has decent ingredients, so I think I can use it without any concerns.
