It seems you really do get what you pay for with foundation... • Lightweight feel • Rarely causes blemishes • Beautiful complexion • Excellent staying power • Neither too dry nor too oily The product itself is truly excellent! The only downside is that it's not exactly budget-friendly... - sk********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 19, 2024
The skin finish looks luxurious. It goes on with a velvety feel that has just the right amount of glow. It covers pores nicely and has surprisingly good coverage. I heard the color tends to be dark and there's a darkening effect, so even though I'm usually 21, I bought 19. It was a good choice. At first, I thought it might be a bit light, but as time passes, it blends well with my neck color. It's not great with masks... The foundation oddly comes off around the nose bridge and nose area, and it's difficult to touch up. Also, it's hard to apply without tools, so I end up not using it much... Cushions are the best. Using a spatula to spread it and then patting with a puff gives a thin, lightweight finish. However, YouTubers say this product looks better when applied with a brush rather than a puff for a more beautiful complexion! - ch**********Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 8, 2023
The color is vibrant and the staying power is incredible. It really lasts well on the skin. The application is disappointing. It seems only those with already good skin can use this effectively. Also, if your skin has even a bit of oil, it doesn't apply smoothly and sits on top of the skin. - se**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2023
A foundation I use all year round. It has a matte finish, but with a stunning Inner Glow. The way it enhances my complexion is absolutely mind-blowing! If you don't prep your skin well, it can sometimes break apart and clump. It might also be prone to separating in the dead of winter. - id*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 3, 2023
As someone with oily skin, my makeup tends to break down quickly. While it doesn't last a full 24 hours, this foundation has better longevity and doesn't deteriorate as messily. Interestingly, about 2-3 hours after application, it develops a slight dewy finish that actually makes my skin look better. Compared to the previous Black Foundation, the coverage seems to be about half as effective. While it does feel lighter on the skin, I couldn't use it alone without a concealer. - tm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2023
It's really great for summer use. The claim about its long-lasting power being on par with Double Wear isn't just hype! I have combination skin, and like with Double Wear, if I don't prep my skin properly, it can sometimes look too cakey. The powder particles settle into my pores. - js*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 14, 2023
I've honestly seen many foundations that melt and maintain a clean finish, but this is the first time I've experienced a foundation that sticks to my face like glue, doesn't pill, and refuses to budge. It might not be easy to handle. The thin texture means less coverage. I've heard it can be drying for those with dry skin. If it's not easy to apply, those with dry skin can use a rich moisturizer beforehand for easier application and to prevent dryness. For combination to oily skin types, mixing it with a hydrating cream or essence can make it easier to apply. Instead of over-layering to compensate for the thin coverage, it's better to use concealer on specific areas for a more beautiful finish. - cj*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 6, 2023
I used to use Hera Black Foundation, but after it was discontinued, I was hesitant about what to buy next. I'm so glad I decided to purchase this product! It's really great!! It's a bit on the matte side, so in winter you might need to make sure your skincare base is really solid. In summer, it's perfect when applied over sunscreen. Highly recommended! It's not as bright as I expected, so you might want to consider going one shade lighter than your usual tone. Please use a very, very small amount each time. Because it's matte, apply it to one area and then move on. Trust me on this! - hj****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedSep 6, 2023
Absorbs well, creating a thin, adherent layer on the skin. Provides good coverage without feeling heavy or suffocating. I've been using Hera foundation since its previous version, but why did they change the packaging for the worse? The HD Perfect foundation I used before Silky Stay came out had an air-tight pump, which made me feel confident that the product stayed fresh throughout use - I really loved that aspect. Now it's changed to a regular glass pump (completely ordinary, old-school - not even luxurious or attractive), which is very disappointing for Hera. - go********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2023
My skin type is extremely oily and sensitive. My usual foundation seemed to have lost its effectiveness, causing skin irritation, so I researched and decided to buy the Hera foundation! Even after using Estée Lauder, my skin was still acting up... I wasn't sure if this type of foundation would suit me, but I bought it anyway... And wow, the first impression was amazing! I finally feel like I've found the right foundation for me. It adheres perfectly to my skin... Incredible! My skin always looked shiny due to excess oil, but this foundation has great staying power and doesn't break down easily. My skin is extremely oily, but this foundation doesn't make it look cakey or feel heavy at all. It adheres so well that it's easy to draw my eyebrows after application. I'm extremely satisfied and plan to stick with this foundation. For skin with lots of pores... it really accentuates them. If you try to layer it for more coverage, it just makes it worse. It's also difficult to cleanse, so an oil cleanser is a must! It seems to apply better with a brush than with a puff! I recommend buying one shade darker than your usual color.
