I was looking for a gentle foundation I could use daily, and this one definitely fits the bill! It's so mild that it doesn't cause any blemishes, and it feels light enough to apply every day without worry. And the shade range! It's so hard to find a 22 shade with good ingredients, so I'm absolutely in love with this. I used to be a foundation nomad because 21 made me look like a geisha and 23 turned me into a tanned American girl, but this 22 is just perfect. While the coverage is on the lighter side, it's wonderfully hydrating, making it ideal for those with dry skin! I never noticed this with other brands' cushions or foundations, but with this one, I finally understood what people mean when they say foundation settles into smile lines. Everything else about it is great, but it keeps creasing in my nasolabial folds. After just 1-2 hours, you can see distinct foundation lines there, working some kind of anti-aging magic that makes me look older than I would without makeup. I have a 21 shade complexion, but this is a bit dark for me. So I mix it with shade 20 or use it for contouring. The gentle ingredients are really great for my skin. The packaging? It's not very oily, so I'd say it's matte, but without being drying. For me, one pump was too much, so I had to carefully dispense tiny drops. Even then, it would run and leave marks. After trying various puffs and sponges, I went back to using my fingers. I squeeze small drops onto my fingertips and pat it onto areas with blemishes. If I feel I've applied too much, I move from one cheek to the other, then to the forehead. Made with gentle ingredients that won't irritate your skin, so you can apply it worry-free. It absorbs well, and personally, I find it provides good coverage. Apart from being a bit pricey for the amount you get, I have no complaints.
