In the summer, keeping it slightly chilled in the refrigerator adds a cooling sensation, further enhancing the soothing benefits.

The formula is moist and gentle, but during extremely dry seasons like midwinter, the moisturizing effect may be slightly lacking. For dry skin types, it is better to use it in combination with other moisturizing creams rather than on its own for more hydration. Additionally, due to the gel cream texture, a slight tightening sensation may be felt after absorption, so for dehydrated dry skin types, a dual moisturizing routine is recommended.

I've been using a similar Hwahae moisturizer since high school, so it's been over 3 years now. I've been using this Cica cream for about a year, and during dry seasons like winter, this slightly heavier Cica cream has been wonderful. I always stock up on it during Ollyne sales. The value is unbeatable, and even though I have atopic skin, it's so gentle with no breakouts. It just leaves my skin feeling so plump and hydrated!

I'm not sure about any other benefits besides moisturizing.

The scent was quite unpleasant before I got used to it... It had a slightly nauseating smell, so it took some time to adapt. Applying it just once is no different than a regular soothing cream - you need to layer it multiple times to see the effects.

The creamy texture is much better than a watery application. When my skin barrier is compromised and irritated, applying it multiple times helps soothe the skin and fade acne marks quickly. It also feels like it has a good balance between oil and moisture, which works well for my skin.
