I used to avoid sunscreen due to its typical stickiness, transfer, and white cast, which made my skin noticeably burn. However, this sunstick is so convenient as it doesn't get on your hands when applying. It's not sticky and has minimal transfer, so I find myself applying it every time I go out. I was worried it might be too light being a stick, but it seems to provide solid UV protection. I'm really happy with my purchase!
ConsIn the peak of summer when humidity is high and you're sweating a lot, it can pill up like dead skin. Also, as I have atopic dermatitis and sensitive skin, while it's not always the case, when my skin condition isn't great, the areas around my eczema became itchy. Additionally, when I wore it to Pilates, there was a slight visible transfer on the equipment. However, I think these issues are somewhat to be expected.
TipThis would be perfect to take on trips!

Appearance/Design: The sleek design with attractive font made me eager to try this product. I especially enjoyed the satisfying click when twisting the base of the sunstick - it's so fun! 2. Application: I applied the product immediately upon receiving it. Surprisingly, it didn't leave a greasy feeling at all! As you can see in the photo, it's so lightweight you can hardly tell it's there. No white cast, no stickiness, and no transfer - I was truly impressed by how clean it felt. Being a sunstick, you can simply glide it over the areas you need without getting your hands messy. So convenient and tidy! 3. Quantity: When I first received it, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous surface area and the amount that comes out when fully twisted up. It's quite substantial! This means great value for money and long-lasting use. While 19g might not sound like much on paper, it's actually a significant amount.
Cons1. Ingredients: Checking the Hwahae app, I noticed it contains three potential allergens and orange oil, which may affect sensitive skin. This made me a bit apprehensive before applying. As my skin is particularly sensitive right now, I only applied it to half my face at first. Sure enough, my sensitive skin reacted with some itching. It's a bit disappointing that it contains potential allergens. 2. Scent: Perhaps due to the orange oil or something else, there's a sharp, citrusy scent that I personally don't care for. Of course, fragrance preferences vary widely - my friends all found it pleasant or neutral. As someone sensitive to scents who prefers unscented products, the tangy smell made me wrinkle my nose when applying it near my nose and upper lip. However, the scent isn't overpowering and fades quickly after application, so it's not a major issue. 3. Price: Honestly, at 26,900 won on the official site, it's a bit pricey for a sunstick in my opinion. Even setting aside the other drawbacks, I probably wouldn't repurchase due to the cost. It doesn't even include free shipping, so I can't say it's affordable. It might be worth considering if you can catch it on sale.

I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount. It doesn't pill or separate like some sunscreens when applying makeup, which is fantastic.
ConsThe stick format makes it a bit tricky to gauge how much product I'm using, which can be inconvenient. Personally, my face gets slightly red and itchy after application, so I prefer using it on my body instead.

One thing's for sure - it's absolutely non-sticky and leaves a powdery finish. You know how other sunscreens and sun sticks claim to be non-sticky but still leave a residue? Well, this Sanghoom is truly powdery... It's like you've just applied powder right after putting it on. It absorbs instantly, leaving a matte finish. I thought I might be exaggerating, so I had all the ladies at home try it. They were amazed too! The four of us used this small stick for outdoor use, and it disappeared in no time. This is genuinely a well-fitting and powdery sun stick.
ConsWhile it's great for body use, I hastily applied it on my face and it didn't seem to agree with my skin. My face started itching after application. I couldn't wash it off immediately, and by the time I got home, I had developed some blemishes. However, this could be due to my skin condition at the time.
TipAfter thorough skincare, just glide this on your body before heading out. It doesn't leave any stickiness on your hands, and your arms and legs feel wonderfully matte. It's fantastic!
