I've gone through 3 bottles of this! It's gentle and, above all, the coverage is insane... Hmm, there's a bit of darkening, but the coverage is so good that I think it's okay. - 80*****RecommendedJun 13, 2025
- eg****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2025
The coverage is great and it adheres well to the skin. The ingredients are also gentle, so I think I'll keep using this product from now on! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. Even though I have blemish-prone skin, the ingredients are good. - ia********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 8, 2025
Even when applied by hand, it spreads thinly and evenly, making it perfect for beginners. The bonus mini cushion that comes with it is great for on-the-go touch-ups. The coverage is a bit lacking, and unfortunately, it tends to cause blemishes on my skin. - pa**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 6, 2025
This is simply amazing! Etude House, please accept my heartfelt gratitude. I applied this at 10 AM, went to an amusement park, and played until 6 PM without a single touch-up. After about 5 minutes of application, there's hardly any transfer or smudging! And let's talk about the legendary value for money - how can such quality come at this price? The coverage is medium to high. While I'm a perfect match for shade 21, this runs slightly dark and yellow. Despite cleaning the nozzle carefully, product keeps getting on the cap when closing. As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts to almost every cosmetic, I did experience some blemishes. Still, it's a product I'm willing to use despite the drawbacks! For those who find the foundation shade a bit yellow and drying, try mixing it with another moisturizing foundation in shade 21 - you'll achieve that porcelain skin finish. It might feel a bit thick when applying, so be sure to control the amount you use carefully! - st******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 6, 2025
I ordered this on May 1, 2025, and they sent me a product with a very generous expiration date of January 22, 2028. I heard this was like a budget-friendly version of Estée Lauder's Double Wear Foundation, so I felt I could trust the quality. After using it for a month, I can confirm the coverage is excellent. As someone with dry and super sensitive skin, I'm happy to report it didn't cause any blemishes and gave me a nice, matte finish. I didn't check the ingredients initially, but looking at the Hwahae app, I see it's free from harmful substances. The fact that I could get it on sale for under 20,000 won makes the price very reasonable too. It's a bit darker than typical foundations, so if you usually use shade 21, I'd recommend either going one shade lighter or mixing it with your BB cream. You can repurpose an empty compact case to hold this foundation, which is super convenient for touch-ups on the go. - su*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2025
The coverage is excellent! I have quite a few blemish marks, so when choosing cushions or foundations, I prioritize coverage above all else. This product is so good that even Leo J recommends it. It feels a bit dry on my skin, which makes my face look slightly cakey right after application. I mix shades 21 and 23, but for those with in-between complexions, shade 21 might be too light while 23 could be too dark. For those with combination dehydrated skin, you might want to layer a hydrating primer underneath for better absorption. Also, if you're prone to sensitivity, do a patch test first to check for any potential irritation. - da******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
#Clean Ingredients #Semi-Matte #Coverage Left: 19N1, Right: 21N1 Reviewer's Skin Type: • Dry • Prone to redness • Sensitive Reviewer's Preferences: • Fragrance-free • Clean ingredients • Gentle formulation The Double Lasting Vegan Cover Foundation Texture: Applies with a moisturizing feel Finish: Soft, powder-like finish Coverage: Effectively covers basic blemishes and redness Creates an even complexion Overall Assessment: A daily go-to product I've been using the original Double Lasting for years, going through multiple bottles. However, I occasionally experienced hard blemishes, which led me to explore other base products. I enjoyed using Hanyul's cover foundation, which was similar to Double Lasting, and Laneige's foundation worked well for me too. As the years went by, I found myself gravitating towards lighter and more hydrating formulas, even trying BB creams. When I felt the urge to return to foundation, I discovered this version of Double Lasting with clean ingredients. I immediately purchased it. I've already finished one bottle and repurchased it, which prompted me to write this review. In conclusion, it's a product worth using for multiple bottles! I accidentally chose the wrong shade, but personally, 19N seems to suit my complexion better. However, 21N has a more subdued tone that works well for summer use. There aren't any significant drawbacks. On days when my skin texture isn't at its best, it might look slightly cakey. However, if you apply a good base and use a thin layer of foundation, it works wonderfully. This foundation strikes a balance between coverage and a natural finish, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin who still want effective coverage. The vegan formulation adds to its appeal for conscious consumers. The reviewer's long-term satisfaction and repurchase behavior indicate the product's consistency and reliability. For those with dry or sensitive skin prone to redness, this could be an excellent option to explore. - yo********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 23, 2025
I originally used the Espoir cushion in shade 22, but when I tried this one, it seemed a bit darker for a 22. Nevertheless, the coverage is so impressive that you might not even need a concealer. What I love most is that it doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin. If you apply it thinly with a spatula and then pat it in, it creates a beautiful skin finish. It's too dark for a shade 21 and has an overly orange undertone. That's the only issue I have with it. When switching between foundation shades or brands, it's common to notice slight differences in color. The Hwahae Testers often recommend testing the product on your jawline to ensure the best match for your complexion. Remember, finding the perfect shade that evens your skin tone might take some experimentation. If you love the formula but the shade isn't quite right, you might consider mixing it with another product to achieve your ideal color. - ha********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedMay 18, 2025
This definitely feels like it doesn't cause much trouble when I use it. There's a bit of redness, acne, and pigmentation, but the coverage is really good. The photo is taken without doing anything, just with foundation applied! I don't usually use powder, so over time it tends to rub off a bit when I touch up my makeup. Generally, it has good staying power, but occasionally it can get a bit cakey. Everyone says it's dry, but I found the T-zone to be a bit oily, so I didn't feel any discomfort at all.
