There weren't any particular downsides - I used this product quite happily.

I used this product well last summer. Above all, I liked that it's larger than other sun cushions, making it quick and convenient to apply. When I put it on, I felt a slight cooling sensation, which I really enjoyed.

It seems to be okay in terms of not clogging pores.

If anyone from AHC is reading this review, please maintain the same formula if you ever decide to renew this sun cushion. It's really that good.

Also, I'd love to see this available as a traditional sunscreen cream in addition to the cushion format. I'd stock up on it for sure!

There are absolutely no drawbacks. It's truly perfect!

After experiencing constant blemishes and clogged pores with other sunscreens, I decided to switch and try this product.

Since I only use sunscreen for my skin makeup, the brightening effect is crucial to me. Although this isn't marketed as a brightening sunscreen, it definitely evens out my skin tone effectively.

What's more, it seems to control oil well. Even after hours of wear, my face doesn't get excessively oily. It just leaves a subtle, natural glow.

The compact is slightly larger than usual, but I don't mind carrying it around because the product is so good.

The puff isn't great, so I just use a Daiso sponge wedge to apply it. This is the first product that hasn't caused blemishes and has met all my expectations in terms of how it feels on my skin.

Even with a good base, it tends to separate and clump. Also, the puff is too large, making it inconvenient to use.

As someone with a shade 13 or lighter complexion, most cushions tend to darken my skin, but this one actually brightens it a bit. It feels refreshingly cool when applied.

As you all probably know, reapplication is key.

As for drawbacks... there aren't any. It seems to suit my skin type well.

The quantity wasn't as generous as I'd hoped, which was a bit disappointing.

I loved that it came with a small sun cushion that's larger than my palm! It's also wonderfully hydrating.

Try using a different puff instead of the one included. Use a thicker puff. The included puff is too thin and doesn't provide any sense of hydration. A puff from Daiso might work better.

This sun cushion is huge, which made it really inconvenient to cut open. The puff that came with it was terrible. Since the product isn't moisturizing, applying it with such a large puff was quite challenging. It's extremely drying - there's absolutely no hydration. Even though I've barely used it, it doesn't adhere well when pressed with the puff. Rather than absorbing into the skin, it genuinely feels like it's just sitting on top. The glow it gives isn't attractive either - it looks more like excess oil. It feels slippery too. Oh, and it transfers so badly! I tested it by pressing my finger against my cheek, and it smudged and transferred like crazy. The brightening effect looks unnatural as well. You'd probably need some special technique to use this properly. I absolutely do not recommend this for dry or very dry skin types.

The texture is not moisturizing at all and feels quite dry. I'd recommend this for those with oily skin. However, if you have extremely oily skin, it might pill, so I wouldn't suggest it in that case. It's best suited for those with moderately oily skin.

It doesn't provide coverage. When I'm just popping out to the store, I only use this sun cushion, but I wish it offered a bit more evening of the skin tone.

First off, it absorbs well and didn't irritate my somewhat sensitive skin. There's a slight brightening effect (visible difference between untreated and lightly patted areas on the back of my hand). The best part about this sun cushion is that you can apply it over makeup. While temporary, you can feel a cooling effect when applying, which is great for gently patting on when your skin temperature rises outdoors. It actually contains centella essence for soothing and temporarily lowering skin temperature.

My skin tends to develop dead skin cells with most products, so I need to keep it hydrated when applying makeup. Despite this being a moisturizing type, it still caused some flaking when I used the included puff. However, when I applied it with a damp sponge, it went on smoothly without any flaking, which was great! The only downside is that the product is a bit too large to carry around easily.

I've been using this for about 3 weeks, and it seems to work well for me without causing any blemishes. The brightening effect is great, and I love the cooling sensation when applying it - perfect for my skin that tends to get hot easily. I don't even need to use foundation separately. I just apply this lightly, cover any spots with a concealer pencil, and I'm done! Even if I apply it at 9 AM and stay out until 10 PM, my skin still looks bright until about 7-8 PM. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out!

I didn't notice when testing on the back of my hand, but when I applied it to my face, there was quite a bit of white cast. The included applicator is really poor quality, so I'm using something else instead of the original puff. The puff is too big, doesn't blend well, and is just really disappointing.

It's cool and refreshing, and the cushion format makes it easy to apply. There's some white cast, but it seems to fade slightly after a little while.
