Perfect for a foundation-free look and great for light, patting application Disappoints with excessive hydration and poor staying power - po********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It's great that it maintains a cooling effect even in the height of summer! It naturally brightens and evens your skin tone. While you need to keep reapplying sunscreen, it's practically impossible to reapply regular sunscreen once you've put it on in the morning. The biggest advantage of the L.O.L Sun Cushion is that you can touch up frequently without your makeup looking cakey. It's not originally designed for high coverage, so understandably, the coverage is on the lighter side. Avoid applying it to your eyelids, as it can cause eye irritation that lasts all day if you do. - ar********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresFeb 7, 2025
I've been using this since 2018, so for nearly 7 years now. It's hydrating, gentle, and easy to apply. With each reformulation, it's become more disappointing. Initially, it was hydrating, gentle, and had just the right amount of white cast. Now, with so many sun cushions on the market, it seems to lack competitiveness. It's too rich, sits on the skin, and absorbs poorly, leaving nail marks. The price point is also disappointing... It might be good if you want to achieve a glowy complexion. - ju********Combination SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 1, 2024
I love how it naturally brightens my complexion! It seems to keep blemishes at bay too. I've been using it consistently for years now~ The amount feels a bit on the smaller side.. I can't really tell much difference between this and the big sun cushion. - ju*****Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityJun 23, 2024
It doesn't leave an oily feeling, and overall, the application experience is quite pleasant. Personally, I'm not sure if it just doesn't suit me, but it makes my skin feel really tingly and uncomfortable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2024
It brightens the complexion and doesn't feel sticky after application. Plus, it doesn't rub off easily, so it has great staying power! The brightening effect is a bit too intense and it feels quite drying. The amount seems quite small too... (It doesn't even last a month...) The brightening effect is stronger than expected, and while it fades a bit over time, it still remains quite noticeable. I'd recommend this more for oily skin types rather than dry skin. If you have oily skin and are looking for a long-lasting sun cushion that evens skin tone, this might work well for you! - mo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 4, 2024
I love how it naturally brightens my complexion while feeling lightweight on the skin I don't really have any major complaints while using this product - w4********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2024
As someone with combination skin, I've always worried about breakouts from cushion foundations. But this one didn't cause any blemishes at all, and it even brightened my complexion! My sister with dry skin tried it too, and her face had such a glow that I had to ask what she was using. Turns out, it was this! My husband actually prefers this on me. Unlike some sunscreens that irritate my eyes, this doesn't bother me at all. It brightens my complexion beautifully. No wonder it's so popular on home shopping networks! The cushion puff seems to attract a lot of dust. You can clearly see when it gets dirty, which means frequent washing. I suppose that could be seen as a good thing... I use the medium size for on-the-go and the larger size at home. - as******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedMar 14, 2024
I hesitated to buy L'Oréal due to the price, but I snagged it during a home shopping discount! It's great that it doesn't leave residue on my hands and adheres well to the skin. I expected some shine given it's a sunscreen, but just like in the ad, it's not greasy at all, which I love. It's not drying either, making it suitable for dry skin types too. It's so convenient to pat on throughout the day when I'm out! No complaints. Please have sales more often! Sunscreen needs to be applied daily all year round, so we use a lot and it runs out quickly. The product is good! Apply a thin layer before makeup, and reapply every 4-5 hours. The key tip is to apply it thinly. Otherwise, it can leave a white cast. - cj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 24, 2024
For sensitive, combination skin that dislikes oily sunscreens: 1. Natural skin tone enhancement 2. Long-lasting brightening effect (unsure about sun protection longevity) 3. Pore coverage (not as much as foundation or cushion) 4. Reduces redness Highly recommended for those who dislike sunscreen residue on hands I'm on my fourth bottle as a paying customer, and honestly, I can't find any downsides. The texture varies depending on your skincare routine (individual results may vary): - With a matte-finish skincare routine: Initially moisturizing, then becomes powdery - With a barrier-strengthening or hydrating routine: Creates a dewy glow Note: I need to repurchase to include a photo with sunlight. This is not sponsored, truly purchased with my own money.
