As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always cautious when choosing cleansing products. This one has a lovely scent, and when I soak a cotton pad and use it, it's not irritating at all! It removes makeup effectively too. I'll likely repurchase once I finish this bottle. There's nothing I found disappointing about this product. - de*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 12, 2025
I've been using this for about a year and I'm satisfied because it's not sticky and feels soft on the skin The hydration dissipates relatively quickly, leaving the skin feeling dry - an******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresFeb 11, 2025
The refreshing green tea scent is pleasant, and it removes makeup gently without irritating the skin. After using it for about a week, I'm a bit disappointed. I bought it because of the good reviews, but its cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking. I used to use Bioderma cleansing water, which removes makeup much more thoroughly. Also, the opaque packaging makes it difficult to check how much product is left. After cleansing with this, when I follow up with Bioderma, I still see makeup coming off. I'm planning to try using it for cleaning my makeup brushes instead. - hl******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 7, 2025
I've been using this for about a month now. I have dry skin, but I don't usually wear heavy makeup, so I prefer cleansing waters. Many cleansing waters still contain PEG ingredients, which I try to avoid when purchasing. After using this product, even if I don't wash my face immediately and wait about 10 minutes, my skin doesn't feel tight and there's little to no irritation. Being a cleansing water, it doesn't effectively remove heavy makeup or long-lasting lip tints. - yn****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 28, 2024
I'm on my Nth bottle of the Green Tea Water. My skin is combination-oily and changes with the seasons. During seasonal transitions, my skin sometimes acts up, and in winter, it gets dry deep down. The formula is hydrating and refreshing, with no irritation to my skin. It occasionally stings if it gets in my eyes, so be careful with the amount you use. I've tried other products, but they didn't suit me. The Green Tea Water is gentle, so I keep using it. For eye makeup like mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner, it doesn't cleanse well, so you need to use a separate cleanser. On lazy days when I only used this to remove makeup before bed, there was still residue left, so it's a hassle that you absolutely must double cleanse. The only reason I'm using it is because it's gentle. If something better comes along, I plan to switch. Please use a separate dedicated remover for mascara! I highly recommend the Kiss Me mascara remover. Be more thorough when cleansing. Use a cotton swab to wipe around the eyes twice more, or after cleansing, slightly dampen a cotton swab with toner to remove any remaining residue. - mi******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2024
For my makeup removal routine, I use this cleansing water twice as my first cleanse, followed by a foaming cleanser. I have combination, acne-prone skin. Texture: Compared to other brands, it definitely leaves my skin feeling more hydrated after use. This can be a bit uncomfortable for some, as it leaves a slightly slippery finish. Since I follow up with a foaming cleanser, it's not a big issue for me, but if you're only using the cleansing water, you might feel a bit of residue. Scent: It has the signature Innisfree green tea fragrance. It's subtle and pleasant, not overpowering at all. Cleansing effectiveness: It struggles with waterproof products, barely removing them. My usual makeup routine is light - I mainly use BB cream and a concealer pencil for blemishes. Other cleansing waters can remove my waterproof BB cream in one go, but even after using this twice, it barely makes a dent. In the photo, it looks like it only removed mascara and eyeliner, but if you look closely, everything except the lip tint is still there. Even after two rounds, there were patches left, so I ended up using soap and cleansing foam to get everything off. I wouldn't recommend this for removing waterproof makeup. I had high hopes for this product because I love the green tea skincare line, but I'm disappointed. - wl******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 1, 2024
I bought this in a hurry, but it's better than I expected. It's gentle and very hydrating, so my face doesn't feel tight. It's a bit inconvenient to control the amount since it's not a pump bottle. However, the container isn't too big, so it might be okay. - st*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 28, 2024
It effectively removes mineral sunscreen, foundation, and brow makeup. On days when my skin feels super sensitive, I use it with a foam maker, and it's gentle without irritation. It doesn't leave a slippery feeling or residue, giving a clean finish. The large volume offers great value for money as it lasts a long time. For heavy makeup, you might need to use a separate makeup remover or cleansing oil. - ah*******Oily SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2024
Since it's relatively affordable, I, who only use cleansing water, quickly purchased it. Although it seems to have been renewed, I bought the pump type... So while it was quite inconvenient, I had an empty bottle, so I managed to use up the whole container without much trouble. The scent wasn't bothersome either, and it was pleasant to use overall. However, I found the ingredients a bit disappointing. I didn't worry too much since it's a water-based formula, but as the seasons changed, I've reached an age where my skin can act up, and I sometimes felt a tingling sensation on my face. Other than that, the pump seems to have changed, so it doesn't look bad to use! - 26******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedNov 29, 2023
The feel is smooth and clean, almost as hydrating as a toner. It has a refreshing green tea scent. After using cheaper cleansing waters for a while, I repurchased this Innisfree one. It's slightly pricier, but the ingredients and texture definitely feel more refined. The renewed packaging seems more convenient and improved. I appreciate that you can peel off the product's label for separate recycling! I wish they had a buy-one-get-one-free offer! If it were just a bit cheaper, I'd stock up on it as an essential skincare item.
