Coverage: I didn't expect much coverage from a tone-up cushion compared to regular cushions, but this one pleasantly surprised me. It provided decent coverage while naturally evening out my complexion, resulting in a truly natural look. Adherence/Hydration: It gives a powdery finish on the outside while keeping the skin moisturized underneath! The lightweight adherence didn't feel heavy on my skin. Color/Darkening: It brightens the skin with a peachy radiance, as if you've turned on a beauty light for your face. It naturally evens out the skin tone without any darkening issues. Perfect for daily use and achieving that 'no-makeup' makeup look. Longevity/Wear: The staying power was quite impressive. When I applied it before school and checked after coming home, it had barely faded except around the mouth area. This product isn't extremely hydrating, so those with dry skin types might find it a bit too drying! My skin type is oily to combination dehydrated, and while it didn't feel dry upon application, I noticed some oiliness coming through later. Also, when touching up my makeup, it occasionally pilled if I hadn't properly prepped my skin. - uh*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2024
I absolutely love it! It brightens my complexion so well. I've been using it every single day lately. There's not really anything I dislike about it. Though I do feel like the amount you get is a bit on the small side. - wn*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 19, 2024
It brightens with a pink tone, and best of all, it has great staying power without any darkening! It can be a bit drying, so you need to have a solid skincare base! That's the only downside. - rl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2024
The slim case makes it easy to carry around. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. The fragrance seems too strong for a cosmetic product. The coverage is practically non-existent, so a concealer is absolutely necessary. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 11, 2024
I can't believe how well this works! I used to only use brightening moisturizer without any cushion foundation, but then I discovered the Clio tone-up cushion (through YouTube). It provides decent coverage, and for areas that need extra help, I use The Saem's three-color concealer or Givenchy concealer. I absolutely love it! While there's some darkening over time, touch-ups are easy. Most importantly, it doesn't cause any blemishes on my face (unlike Banila Co. which wreaked havoc on my skin). It's such a shame it's been discontinued... Please bring it back! Also, the case wasn't magnetic, so it broke easily. Now I'm carrying it around like a pair of castanets! - kh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 4, 2024
It provides a very subtle brightening effect without drying out the skin. Sometimes I just apply this and use concealer for spot coverage. By evening, it tends to break down slightly around the mouth area (nasolabial folds). - wo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2024
It goes on light and thin. The brightening effect is incredibly natural (it blends seamlessly with your neck). It doesn't cover blemishes well, so it's not ideal to use alone. I use it together with foundation or concealer. - pa***************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 29, 2024
This is revolutionary! The sun protection is incredible, and it even brightens the complexion. Unlike other sunscreens that leave a shiny finish, this one applies with a matte texture that I absolutely love. And can we talk about how gorgeous the packaging is? The matte finish might be too drying for those with dry skin. Make sure to moisturize well before applying! Also, it has a slightly lighter tint, so be careful with the amount you use. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 22, 2024
As someone who has tried many brightening moisturizers, I can say that other products often fail to cover pores or tend to pill and clump. However, I really liked how Clio's product doesn't clump and provides a thin, even coverage! It did feel a bit drying, and I was slightly disappointed that it had some darkening effect. - q5********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsFeb 14, 2024
Glides on lightly Has a lovely pink hue Doesn't accentuate pores or texture Feels moisturizing at first, then sets to a soft matte finish Looks natural It's quite bright, so you need to be careful with the amount Comes off very easily, even with the slightest touch Lacks coverage The puff isn't great Difficult to control the amount when pressing the cushion, and it feels stiff After some time, it can separate and feel dry Slight caking Has some shimmer particles throughout I wouldn't recommend it
