This review is based on using up the entire product. My skin type is combination dehydrated and super sensitive. It's really effective at removing sebum. While it doesn't remove mascara well, it cleanses skin and makeup thoroughly. With consistent use, it even helps lighten blackheads. The emulsification process works well, and I think the ingredients are decent for this price point. For me, it feels too heavy. When I use this alone, I always break out and my skin feels itchy after washing. It's a shame to waste it, and since it cleanses well, I continued using it to remove sebum. However, I have zero intention of repurchasing. I wonder if it doesn't suit my oily skin type. Even after reducing massage time, emulsifying thoroughly, double cleansing, and using a mask post-cleanse, I still break out. If you have oily or sensitive skin, please be very cautious when considering this product. Using it after a steam towel really helps to remove sebum effectively. - wo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2023
I bought this because I had severe blackheads and use it for oil cleansing followed by emulsification. It seems to be really effective at removing blackheads. I use it about once every three days. The product is incredibly gentle, and after using the oil, I finish up with Manyo Factory foam cleanser. It's fragrance-free and doesn't cause blemishes, which is a plus for its gentleness. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2022
It seemed to effectively remove excess oil, which I liked. It gave me a feeling of deeper cleansing. However, I'm not sure how to get rid of blackheads, and they didn't seem to disappear. I think it would work best if you apply it when your skin is completely dry. - mi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 17, 2022
I'm on my second bottle of the Witch Factory Cleansing Oil - after trying various oils, I found this gem through a friend's recommendation and keep repurchasing! It's perfect for my combination dehydrated skin, blemishes, and pores. As someone with super sensitive skin, I love how it manages my skin without irritation. Pro tip: If you get those pesky white sebum spots on your nose after applying foundation, use this for a gentle rolling massage the night before - they'll disappear like magic! In my 20s, I used to squeeze my skin, leaving red marks that never faded. Now in my 30s, I've finally discovered the wonders of cleansing oils. It removes makeup thoroughly and cleanses effectively while being gentle on the skin. The Hwahae Testers would approve! There's absolutely nothing to complain about! By the way, the pads from the same line are great too. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2022
It's not particularly sticky and didn't cause any skin reactions. I've always been satisfied using it, so I don't have any complaints. - pi*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 5, 2022
Removes sebum effectively The first couple of times I used it, I thought it wasn't working as no sebum came out. But from the third use onwards, it started rolling out sebum just as well as the previous Apple Seed version! Maybe it needs some time to adapt? Exfoliates too While removing sebum, it also seems to soften dead skin cells. If you massage it thoroughly, you'll feel like a lot of dead skin has been removed! Even just emulsifying and rinsing leaves the skin feeling smooth. Gentle ingredients Many cleansing oils can be irritating for sensitive skin due to their formulation, but this one feels clean without any of that. I'm acne-prone, but this doesn't seem to affect my blemishes at all. Rich texture Some cleansing oils are too runny and light, dripping down your arms, and often cause breakouts due to too many additives. This one has a rich texture that's great to use in many ways. Leaky pump What's the point of making a good oil if the pump leaks every time you use it? Since it's oil, it can potentially dissolve coatings on shelves or melt plastic baskets, so you have to wipe it up immediately. But because it's oil, dry tissues don't clean it well. To clean it properly, you need to use wet wipes or cleansing tissues, which seems excessive to do every time you remove your makeup. I haven't dropped it, and there's no visible damage to the exterior. Is my pump just defective? I was loyal to the old Innisfree Apple Seed, but after it was reformulated, I didn't like it as much. I bought this based on good reviews while looking for a replacement. The texture seems a bit different, but it removes sebum just as well. I'm similarly satisfied with it. However, while the product itself deserves 5 stars, I'm deducting points because of the packaging. The contents are great, though! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2022
As someone who usually experiences deep dryness after cleansing, I was pleasantly surprised that this product left my skin feeling hydrated without any inner dryness. It's also effective at removing most makeup. While it removes most makeup effectively, I found it disappointing that it struggled with tougher products like mascara. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2022
After washing, it dissolves excess sebum and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I used this because I have oily skin, but if you don't use it consistently, the excess oil comes back quickly. That's the only downside I can think of. It suits my skin perfectly. First, apply a thin layer of oil to your unwashed face and cleanse. Then, massage with cold water for about 40 seconds until it emulsifies. After that, just rinse it off! - ni***********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2022
I was overall satisfied as there was no irritation like stinging eyes, and it effectively removed sunscreen and other products. As expected with Manyo Factory products, they're a bit pricey, so it's best to buy them during sales. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 29, 2022
To be honest, there weren't any particularly good points. It didn't really suit my skin. It doesn't seem effective at removing blackheads or reducing sebum.
