I think it has a citrusy scent. It removed foundation, lip color, eyebrow makeup, and sunscreen effectively. To be honest, it's just so-so compared to the buzz I've heard. It's okay, but I feel like it should perform better given its reputation. I recently tried the Manyo Factory oil cleanser (I believe it was the Pure version) - of course, that one's a balm type.
In my opinion, I was really surprised by Manyo Factory's powerful cleansing effectiveness that even removed stubborn sunscreen. Banila Co's version is a bit underwhelming compared to its hype, but its cleansing effectiveness isn't bad. I only did simple makeup, so I couldn't test it on more dramatic looks.

If I had to nitpick, the inner lid is a bit cumbersome for me, as I'm not a fan of those. But honestly, I have no complaints about its performance, fragrance, or cleansing effectiveness!
