I was already using Marienme's Rose Wash-off Pack regularly when curiosity led me to try another product from the same company. Upon opening, there's a distinctive scent. Unlike the Rose product, this one doesn't have any bits or particles - I thought it might just be a plain mud-like mask, but it actually has some substance to it. There's no irritation or discomfort, and after cleansing, rather than feeling like something extraordinary happened, my face just feels comfortably relaxed. The scent is more of a generic herbal aroma compared to the Rose version. I knocked off one star because if I had to choose between the two, I'd go for the Rose one. While the Rose mask with hyaluronic acid feels hydrating, this one is more like a mud mask. So, whereas I used to apply the Rose pack generously, with this one it's better to layer it on thickly to prevent it from drying out too quickly during the mask session. - ch**************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 30, 2024
The cica and tea tree ingredients seem to be great for soothing the skin There's nothing I dislike. I just wish Hwahae would remove the 20-character minimum for this section - ka******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 26, 2024
I've been consistently using Marienmeye Rose/Lemon, and I bought the Cica version for my sensitive-skinned sister! * The scent is absolutely divine! The moment you open the lid, you're greeted with a herbal aroma that's instantly soothing. While Rose and Lemon have subtle fragrances, the Cica version has an amazing scent, probably due to the tea tree oil. (Personal preference) * Application: Though it looks rich, it adheres perfectly to the skin when applied with a spatula. As I prefer a thicker layer for wash-off masks, I apply it generously! * I leave it on for about 5-10 minutes, then remove the first layer of the mask. Afterwards, I either wipe it off with a sponge while cleansing or rinse it with water - both methods work well! * After application, thanks to its potent ingredients, I noticed that areas around blemishes seemed less inflamed. Treating blemishes is a long-term process, so patience is key... The redness also subsided a bit, so the mask provides great skin soothing effects both during and after use. * I have absolutely no complaints about the product itself. * My only slight issue is with the packaging. There's some residue left inside the rim, so I have to use a silicone spatula to scoop it out. It would be better if the body and opening were aligned! (Still, it's better than a tube packaging ;) * I've somehow ended up using all three lines of Marienmeye wash-off masks. Alternating between them depending on my skin's needs has made masking a daily routine! If you can, it's great to have different types to use! - cl**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 5, 2024
It's incredibly similar to Lush's Mask of Magnaminty! I've tried the Shrek Pack from Olive Young too, but personally, I found it a bit irritating. This one, however, is much gentler on the skin. While I'm not sure about the ingredients, the feel is comparable, and it's cheaper than Lush, so I'm really satisfied using it! I'm not sure about the downsides, but... there's more product than I expected, so I'm a bit unsure how to manage it? Since you end up dipping your fingers in multiple times, I wonder if bacteria might get in without us realizing. But I guess it should be fine..!
