I bought this after testing its UV protection and finding it to be significantly better than other brands' sunscreens. Among the high-protection options, it feels quite nice on the skin. So far, I'm really impressed that it doesn't sting my eyes and provides excellent sun protection. The scent is slightly disappointing, and there's a bit of a white cast... But aside from that, I have no complaints. - ud*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 7, 2024
Excellent UV protection - I can guarantee that much. It also provides great brightening effects. I've encountered many 'assassin-like' sunscreens that claim to protect but don't actually do the job properly, so I'm quite picky about UV protection. After researching, I found this one was highly recommended for its sun protection, so I gave it a try. Now I'm on my 9th bottle! To be honest, I'm getting a bit tired of using it so much, but the packaging is pretty and it's a reliable choice. No irritation either... Even if I forget I'm wearing it and fall asleep, it doesn't leave any residue. It's hard to find testers offline. When paired with the right skincare routine, this product can be amazing, but if it dries out your skin, it's just like any other ordinary sunscreen. I think they might have testers at Sephora, so try it out there before buying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMar 15, 2024
I have sensitive and dry skin that tends to get red and irritated when I apply sunscreen, so it's been challenging to find one that works well for me. After seeing positive reviews, I decided to give this a try! It's incredibly gentle and doesn't leave any white cast!!! While it doesn't cause any blemishes, I'm not sure if it would be suitable for oily skin types since I have dry skin! - xo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2024
After the controversy surrounding Korean sunscreens, I tried this product and now I'm on my third bottle. It provides excellent UV protection without causing any blemishes, and I haven't experienced any eye irritation. While it does have a slight white cast, I avoid pilling by applying it in several thin layers rather than all at once. As a hybrid sunscreen, it seems to combine the benefits of both chemical and physical filters. It's neither too greasy nor too drying, and it's water-resistant, which I find satisfying. For my body, I use the Chrono Beauty Gel, which I'm also happy with. It's similar but feels slightly richer. Hmm... There's nothing I dislike about it! I'm just really, really enjoying using it. - 24*****Combination SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2023
- No eye irritation - Slight white cast provides tone correction (I'm satisfied as someone who usually goes bare-faced, but those who wear makeup might find it insufficient) - Recommended more for combination skin than oily skin (feels slightly moisturizing when first applied, though it does become a bit dry over time) - Applying too many base products causes pilling, so you can only use one cream - While cleansing isn't difficult, it tends to create a film on the skin, requiring regular exfoliation (still better than Anessa Milk) - Can't reapply as it pills - Applying too much creates a white cast, making it difficult to use the proper amount (might be a significant drawback) <Update> The white cast was due to applying too many base products. When I simplified my skincare routine and applied the proper amount, there was a slight white cast initially, but it settled nicely after about 30 minutes! It absorbs quite slowly, so it's better to apply a generous amount at once. Trying to layer it thinly causes pilling and a white cast. Also, it dries quickly, so you need to spread it fast. - jo*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 5, 2023
People say it has great sun protection. I applied it generously on my face and neck during water activities and didn't get tanned! While it can leave a slight white cast if you use the full recommended amount, it's manageable with proper application. It's not as stark white as purely mineral sunscreens. If you apply the correct amount and pat it in well, or wait about an hour, it naturally brightens your complexion by a shade. It's supposed to be matte, but for me it feels as moisturizing as a skincare product. However, it's not greasy, so that's fine! One thing though - the sunscreen feels like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than fully absorbing. I worry it might rub off easily if touched. If not applied correctly, it can pill up and form little balls on the skin. - yp******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 6, 2023
I bought this because it's famous for its excellent sun protection. It's not overly rich and doesn't feel sticky. The hydration is great, making it absorb well. There's absolutely no white cast. I've used it three times so far and haven't experienced any blemishes. As long as it doesn't cause any skin issues, I intend to keep using it in the future. Like many Japanese sunscreens, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. However, it's tolerable enough to continue using. - dd******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2023
Reliable sun protection that doesn't let you down, stays put even with sweat and friction making it perfect for outdoor activities, almost no white cast, and a matte finish that's great for summer use Unfortunately, it doesn't play well with makeup. Especially when you try to apply a dewy cushion foundation after letting it absorb, it tends to pill on top Great for outdoor activities when you're going makeup-free - dn*****Normal SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2023
I've heard it provides excellent sun protection. Plus, it doesn't leave a noticeable white cast. It pills on my skin... and I'm getting blemishes, which is strange because I don't usually have super sensitive skin. - he*********Oily SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2023
Excellent sun protection Not greasy Doesn't sting the eyes Applies unevenly when used as a cushion Only happens with this product... Even when applied alone as sunscreen, it looks patchy Think twice before purchasing
