I appreciate that I can use this product with peace of mind due to its good ingredients. It's also great that it doesn't apply too thickly. It's not as moisturizing as I expected. After some time, I feel a warming sensation on my face and it seems to lift off. - op*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I definitely feel a cooling effect when applying this. It doesn't seem to irritate my skin at all. I bought this because it's gentle, but I found out it only comes in two shades. I'm a shade 19, and when I used this, it made my complexion look darker than my natural skin tone. Even though it's a new product, I'm not sure if I'll continue using it. - ss*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2025
As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I'm extremely careful when choosing cushion foundations. After thoroughly researching YouTube and blogs, I decided to try this one because it's gentle and has a slight cooling effect. I've never experienced any blemishes while using it, and I love the refreshing sensation. Daily makeup can feel burdensome, but the good ingredients in this make it less worrying. It does provide coverage, but it's more of a 'your skin but better' effect. It won't cover major imperfections. This is great for those with already good skin for everyday use, or for those like me with super sensitive skin who prefer a light application. - ma***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 12, 2024
As someone with acne-prone sensitive skin, I can confidently say this cushion causes fewer blemishes and less irritation compared to others! It's also easy to remove. I keep using this cushion solely based on its ingredients. My skin feels comfortable. However, the coverage is light, and if you don't apply your skincare properly, it can settle into pores, so you need to be careful when applying! While it's easy to remove, it tends to melt on hot days if worn for too long... - sa*******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsNov 11, 2023
The ingredients are excellent. This cushion foundation uses gentle, skin-friendly components. It has a matte finish. This isn't a moisturizing cushion. It can accentuate dead skin cells. The shade 23 is surprisingly light and grayish. When applied, it gives the face a grayish appearance. The included puff applicator isn't great. - hi****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 5, 2023
Among cushion foundations, this one has excellent ingredients and is very affordable. I used to use this product before. Recently, I bought a refill, and although I saw it was renewed in the description, I didn't expect the user experience to change so drastically. Previously, it applied thinly and felt moisturizing, and even though it didn't have much coverage, my skin felt like it could breathe, which I liked. (I personally prefer a thin, hydrating feel over high coverage....) However, this renewed version I just purchased has significantly increased coverage, but the thin and moisturizing feeling I was hoping for is completely gone. With the increased coverage, it now feels dry, and the pore-clogging effect has worsened, making me have to pat it in many times. I miss the old version. - ss********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2023
I bought this product again during a special sale since I had used it before, but... hmm, it doesn't seem as good as it used to be. The original camellia cushion was moisturizing, dewy, and had great absorption. Now it feels too dry. Even when I press firmly to apply it, it still feels the same. I always bought it for its hydrating properties. Even when I opened the seal, the sponge part seemed to have holes and looked dried out. It's less hydrating and feels quite dry. Overall, it seems dried out from the first opening. Even when I press firmly to apply it, there's no moisture. Those who dislike dewy finishes might enjoy its matte feel, but if you have dry skin, you might want to pass on this. Interestingly, this cushion used to provide a moisturized glow, but now there's no radiance. It's a bit strange, to be honest. - jd********Combination SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2023
The ingredients are great and I got it at a bargain price. I really like it! The fragrance is... oh no... it's really disappointing. - y4********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2023
Ingredients: No harmful components, so it didn't cause much irritation to my skin and I felt less prone to blemishes. Texture: It wasn't matte, but had a nice moisturizing feel. However, as someone who has used both the pre-renewal and current renewed products, I feel the pre-renewal version suited me better. Texture: It's become more matte compared to the pre-renewal version, which highlighted dead skin cells a bit, especially in winter. This was the most disappointing aspect of the renewed product. Coverage: Although they claim improved coverage, it's similar to before - not much coverage at all. Ingredients: While there are no harmful ingredients, there are some that may cause allergic reactions, so those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. Longevity: Even though I wear a mask, I didn't feel like my skin was thoroughly covered. It's a shame the pre-renewal version was better. In winter, both oily and dry skin types should focus on a solid skincare routine before applying this product. - wo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 17, 2023
Two major advantages (so good I'll repurchase despite the drawbacks): - The ingredients are incredibly skin-friendly - The color matches my skin tone perfectly - The amount that comes out on the puff is tiny. It's puzzling why so little product is dispensed even when pressing hard. Never seen a cushion like this before - With my current E*spoir cushion, one puff application covers my whole face. With this, I need about 7 applications - The puff itself is subpar. It lacks bounce and seems to absorb too much product - They nailed the formula, but the case and puff are disappointing - It has a slightly matte finish - Since it matches my skin tone so well, I use a lighter shade to highlight my cheeks, nose, and forehead center for a more made-up look - If applied sparingly and blended well, it can pass for a bare-faced look
