There was nothing particularly bothersome, and the texture felt nice and firm.
ConsI bought it because I was concerned about my pore issues, but from the first day, I applied it intensively only on my nose, and it caused peeling. The result was due to me not following the usage instructions... But the retinol ingredient is definitely irritating, so even when I applied my regular makeup, it looked red or like constant flaking, and it felt stinging. They say first-time users should use it every other day to get used to it, but I overestimated my skin... 😢
TipI used to not apply anything before bed, but after using retinol, they say it's good to provide sufficient moisture. So I'm using a lotion, moisturizer, and pore serum, and then mixing a bit of retinol into the moisturizer or pore serum to use only on the problem areas! If you apply a generous amount of moisturizer before and after using retinol, you should be able to use it without any side effects!

I purchased the product through an Instagram ad link, basically just paying for the shipping, and I ended up using the whole container. The concentration is 0.1%, similar to the products I've used before, but I felt this one was slightly more irritating. When using it as a standalone cream, there are days when I feel more irritation depending on my skin condition, so it's better to mix it with a moisturizer. The scent, color, and texture are what you'd expect from a retinol cream - a familiar yellow color and a scent similar to the ROC international product I used before. I noticed a slight improvement in skin texture while using it. I've used retinol products multiple times before, and I didn't experience any peeling or breakouts even after finishing the entire container.
ConsWhen my skin condition is not great, I do feel some irritation when using it as a standalone cream. To be honest, when my skin is in a bad state, I tend to feel irritation with all kinds of active ingredients like retinol, AHA/BHA, and vitamin C, so this isn't necessarily a unique downside of this product.
TipMixing it with a moisturizer helps significantly reduce the irritation.

To start, when applied consistently, the effects become noticeable. I also think it's economical since you only need to use a very small amount.
ConsAs pre-warned, the retinol ingredient itself seemed to be quite irritating. (This was my first time using retinol.) I only used it before bed as instructed, but on the days I applied a bit more or used it for over a week consecutively, the applied area would become itchy. I would not recommend this to those who are very sensitive or have reactive skin... but even though I have sensitive skin, I've been able to use it well by adjusting the amount.

I'm still using this serum well.. haha ㅠ
ConsAt first, I forgot to follow the recommendation to apply it slowly over time. I applied a small amount every evening for about 3 days. The skin where I applied it became very sensitive. It turned red like atopic dermatitis, and I experienced severe skin dryness (peeling). It also felt irritated, so I immediately stopped using it. I tried applying a small amount in the evening again, but it still doesn't seem to suit me ㅠㅠ Even just applying sunscreen in the morning stings a lot. So now I'm not using it at all.
TipBe sure to test it in small amounts with time intervals!
