I'm pleased to say it lives up to the hype! The sunscreen applies smoothly and provides excellent sun protection. I also appreciate the subtle brightening effect it gives my complexion.
ConsPlease note that I've only tried about three sunscreens, and this review is based on two weeks of use. For those with dry skin, beware - this might make you feel unexpectedly oily. That was the biggest drawback for me. After using this, I noticed an increase in small blemishes on my face. Oddly enough, it doesn't feel greasy when applied to my hands or arms, but my face becomes excessively oily. Looking at the ingredients, there's a high alcohol content. Over time, my skin feels deeply dry underneath, yet appears shiny on the surface - it's really unpleasant. Unlike my previous sunscreen stick that felt like it melded with my skin, this one seems to sit on top of my skin after a while. Lastly, I ordered this from Olive Young, and the packaging arrived a bit dirty, with some kind of residue on it.
TipWhen choosing a sunscreen, it's crucial to consider your skin type and specific needs. While this product may work well for some, it might not be suitable for everyone, especially those with dry or sensitive skin. Always patch test new products and discontinue use if you experience any irritation or adverse reactions.

ConsAfter applying toner and emulsion, my skin felt firm, but when I put this on, it felt like there was a coating. When I applied makeup, it seemed to pill slightly, and there was a bit of excess oil, which was disappointing

Due to my extremely dry skin, even with intense hydration, other sunscreens would make my skin crack and flake. But not this one. It doesn't pill or smudge my makeup even when reapplied over it.
ConsThe downside is that it's quite rich, so I need to use oil blotting papers after application. Also, when applied to the neck, it makes my hair stick a bit.

You don't need to pat it in for ages or wait for it to absorb - it's suitable for applying and heading out right away. It brightens your complexion significantly, but without looking like kabuki makeup - more like you've just evened your skin tone with makeup. It's also hydrating. In summer, it felt a bit rich, but since the weather's cooled down, I've been using it without any dryness. It used to have a beautiful glow, but that's diminished in the drier season - not that I'm too bothered about it. The absorbs well too, so even when I apply it roughly, it doesn't pill.
ConsIt's a bit rich for summer use (I have oily skin in summer). If you apply it too carelessly, it can sometimes pill like eraser shavings, but this is rare.
TipIn summer, I used it with powder or powder-type blush. I plan to use it all year round.

It has great staying power, so it lasted quite a long time on my skin.
ConsThere's a bit of a white cast. Even though I have dry skin, using it in summer made my skin excessively oily... My sebum production went into overdrive. It would probably be better suited for use in autumn or winter.

Now I rarely use Korean sunscreens. I think Japanese, European, and Australian sunscreens are great. Personally, I prefer Japanese products. If you're boycotting Japanese goods, feel free to skip this. Japan has similar skin types to ours and experiences hot, humid summers, so they've done extensive research on formulations. Their cosmetics and chemical industries are larger and more established than ours. This sunscreen has the best texture I've ever experienced. Its protection is excellent, and it doesn't irritate my eyes. It never lets me burn. Of course, eye sensitivity can vary from person to person. I have dry skin and dislike shine or stickiness, but I can't stand dryness either. This product meets all my needs perfectly. It might feel heavy and glowy in summer, but it's ideal for the other three seasons. It's moderately moisturizing without being sticky or greasy. It's waterproof and transfer-resistant, so it lasts well. You can apply multiple layers without pilling. It worked great even with mask-wearing during the pandemic. While sensitive skin types might need to be cautious about the ingredients, I'm not particularly ingredient-conscious. I prioritize functionality over 'clean' formulations.
ConsThose with oily skin might find it a bit heavy and greasy in summer. I switch to Shiseido or Anessa milk formulas during hot months. Although it claims to be easily washable, I'm not so sure. It doesn't come off that easily, so make sure to double cleanse thoroughly! When reapplying, gently blot with a tissue or oil blotting paper before applying another layer.
TipFor the best experience, make sure your morning skincare isn't too heavy or sitting on top of your skin before applying this sunscreen. That's how you'll truly appreciate its superior texture!

ConsIt's slightly richer compared to other lines, so if you want to use it before makeup, you'll need to blot off the excess with a sponge
