I've been using this since June. It's wonderfully hydrating and doesn't have any whitening effects, so I can wear it naturally throughout the day. Since I have dry skin, I feel like I need to provide more deep hydration. - gl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2025
Perfect for those moments when reapplying sunscreen feels tricky. Just pat it on as the final step of your skincare routine. It feels moisturizing when applied, but dries to a lovely matte finish - the best of both worlds! For truly hydrated skin that doesn't feel dry, your skincare needs to penetrate deep into the layers of your skin. - ka***********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresMay 23, 2025
It applies so smoothly and the container is huge, so I can slather it on generously! I love it! Since it's so hydrating, I didn't experience any dryness at all!!! Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction around my nose and T-zone... It was quite disappointing. - jh*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 16, 2025
I didn't like getting my hands dirty, so I tried a cushion compact, and it turned out to be better than I expected, so I used it for about 2 years. When applied, it has a cooling sensation, is lightweight, and moisturizing, with no white cast, so it was perfect for someone like me who doesn't wear makeup often. I have combination/dry skin, and there was no oil buildup or anything like that even by the end of the day. It doesn't irritate my eyes, the fragrance is not unpleasant, and it doesn't feel heavy or cakey when I wear makeup. Due to the cushion-type, it seems to run out too quickly. It feels like the puff is absorbing more of the product than what's being applied to my face, but I'm not sure if that's just a feeling or the reality...? And since it's applied on top of sweat during the hot summer, the puff absorbs the sweat as well, so if I don't clean the puff frequently, the odor becomes quite strong. It seems like it would be good to have a few Hwahae Testers on hand and rotate using them, as Hwahae cleansing is often needed. - hi****Combination SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2025
I highly recommend this product. It doesn't cake even when applied over makeup and actually enhances your glow. The cooling effect makes your skin feel comfortable too. For those with oily skin, it might feel a bit heavy during the summer months. - fr********Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2025
It feels lightweight after application, making it perfect for wearing under makeup. The skin-perfecting effect is a bit lacking, so it's not quite suitable as a replacement for powder foundation. - li*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2025
It's gentle and moisturizing, which I love. Even in the dry winter, my skin doesn't feel tight. The brightening effect seems a bit lacking, but I didn't experience any blemishes. - dl*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 2, 2025
The cushion format is so convenient - no mess on your hands, just pat it on your face. It's compact, palm-sized, with a mirror for easy application. It goes on with a moisturizing, cooling effect, but it's so lightweight you might find yourself reapplying. It's a triple-threat with brightening, anti-aging, and sun protection benefits. Plus, it's vegan-friendly and dermatologist-tested for sensitive skin. The hydrating formula can look a bit dewy, but setting it with powder helps. It's pricey for a sunscreen, and I noticed the puff started tearing after some use. You'll need to replace the puff regularly for hygiene reasons. - a_******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsFeb 11, 2025
I like that it's a large compact, but even though it claims to have no white cast, I couldn't tell if it was actually applied. I was a bit disappointed by the slight stickiness and the small amount of product. - yo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 21, 2025
I've always used regular sunscreen, so this was my first time trying a sun cushion. When I apply it in the morning before work, it keeps my skin moisturized until the afternoon. It's gentle and doesn't cause the eye irritation that's typical with sun cushions. It seems to give a nice glow effect that makes your skin look healthier. It feels refreshing when applied. The cushion is large, making it super convenient to use - just a few pats and you're done! I love the size - it's big enough that I can use the mirror to check my makeup. It's especially handy for applying sunscreen when you're out and about. I've almost used it all up already. I'd love to get a refill, but I don't think they sell them separately. Considering the price point, it's not as cost-effective compared to other sun cushion products. Since it's not a foundation, it doesn't provide coverage on its own. But then again, it's a sun cushion, so expecting coverage would be unreasonable! Due to the lack of coverage, I apply a thin layer of this Dalba sun cushion first, then follow up with foundation for added coverage.
